Christmas in Downtown Raleigh

We went downtown for the tree lighting service and they had lots to do as you will see in the pics below. There were lots and lots of stuff but I only took a few photos.

They had a horse and carriage ride but the lines were way too long so...

we let Timmy pet the horse. He enjoyed doing that more anyhow.

Timmy and his cousin Tristan really enjoyed going on the train ride. It was the one thing that we waited in line for them to do.

Timmy and his Elmo Table

These pics are especially for the Brown's. Timmy loves his Elmo Table. In these pics he is watching Sesame Street and eating a snack. Enjoy the pics Aunt Elaine and the rest of the Brown family.

The 12 Pains of Christmas...

We decorated the Christmas tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving. If you listen to Christmas songs then you have heard the 12 Pains of Christmas song. One of the biggest pains in the song is putting the lights on the tree. Every year that is Scot's job. He does such a great job of putting the lights on the tree but it isn't one of his favorite things to do...lol. And of course Timmy has to be where Daddy is doing what Daddy is doing as you will see in the pics below. The fun part was Timmy's reaction after the tree was finished which you'll see in the pics below too. Needless to say we have to keep little man gated off from the Christmas tree or else it would be destroyed...lol.

"Hey Daddy can I help?"

"Oh boy, a tree inside the house."

"What's this? Will Mommy mind if I take it off and play with it?"

These were taken on November 29th. Nan and Popsie got Timmy an Elmo and Ernie bathtime toy with a sub and two boats. All you see in the pics though are Elmo and Ernie and the sub but Timmy loves playing with them all. Enjoy the pics Nan and Popsie. These were done especially for you.

It's Official...

Y'all thought I was prego again, huh?! Nope. We are officially going to do a major overhaul on the house. We are going to turn Scot's office into the spare bedroom, the spare bedroom into a playroom, and the upstairs playroom into Timmy's new bedroom. The toys are everywhere and we are running out of room to put things so it has to be done. It's going to be a work in progress as I go through all our stuff and decide what stays and what goes. When Timmy's napping I'll be going through things and packing up things that can go to the garage. The room that is going to be Timmy's room is going to need a fresh painting and so will the room that is going to be the playroom. We may or may not do the painting though because I'm sure it won't take long for them to be messed up again...lol. I'm sure that it will be nice once it's done but we are not looking forward to all the work that is going to be involved. At least I'll be able to do a lot of the tedious stuff during Timmy's nap times. That will help out a lot because it won't take long to move things around once that is done. Just the thought of it all makes me go "Whew!" and I'll probably be doing that once it's done too (and so will Scot)...lol.

Elmo Table

While in Kentucky Timmy's Aunt Elaine, Uncle Kevin, Cousin Mysterie, Brittany, and Joshton had bought Timmy an Elmo Table and Chairs for his Christmas present from them. We couldn't let him see it while there because he would have known what it was and wanted to open it then and there. So we waited until we got home to let him see it and he was so excited when he saw it. Here are a couple of pictures and videos of Timmy and his Elmo Table. Enjoy Brown family and Thanks for the gift. Timmy loves it!!!!

"Oh Boy Elmo!"

"Hurry Daddy! Let's get this put together fast so I can play with it."

We only did short clips of video because it takes so long for it to upload if you do longer ones.

Capital Building in Charleston West Virginia

The Capital Building in Charleston West Virginia sticks out like a sore thumb. You can't go through there without noticing it. It's gold capped incase you can't tell by looking at this picture. I got this picture on the drive home from Kentucky last weekend.

Christmas in Kentucky

Christmas came early for Timmy. While in Kentucky we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas with Scotties family. Timmy got lots of gifts that he absolutely loved.

This is an Elmo Cell Phone that his Nan and Popise got for him.

This is a power drill that Uncle Jeff, Aunt Debbie, and Cousin Corey got for him.

This is a measuring tape that Uncle Jeff, Aunt Debbie, and Cousin Corey got for him.

Great Grandmother Stergeon gave Timmy a card with money in it. Yippee!

Timmy and Aunt Debbie with the measuring tape.

Aunt Elaine got Timmy lots of Elmo books and they are a big hit.

Nan and Popsie got him a rolling tool chest.

Nan and Popsie got him a tool pouch with tools.

Nan and Popsie got Timmy a case with power tools in it.

One of the items in the power tools case was a flashlight and Timmy did what all kids do with a flashlight for the first time. He looked right into it...lol.

This was a welding set from Nan and Popsie. Timmy loves all the power tools.

Here he is with his gloves, welding helmet, and welder.

The Grandmothers

Here's a picture of Scottie and Timmy with Great Grandmother Stergeon (on the left) and Nan (on the right). They both so loved spending time with their grandson.
