NexGen Video Training

Today T did a video recording of his training today for his Ohio coach, Master Hershberger. The last little segment is what he shared with his coach but I added in all the segments so you could see what he did up to the moment of the last segment. It was a focused training on one combination per the coaches direction.

Dirt Bike Fun!

T has had great fun being able to ride his bike. This is perfect weather for riding.  He’s getting braver with his bike as he gets older too...LOL!  The life of an active kid keeps you on your toes!!!

Our Pastors Sermon Notes From This Morning!

This was a very good teaching that I just wanted to share the notes!  Please take time to read!

A Time In Between: Thoughts About Our Current Events

11.29.2020

Introduction

Hebrews 6 mentions some of the fundamental doctrines of scripture that we should be familiar with:

Hebrews 6:1-2 (NLT)

So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. (2) You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

One of the major doctrines of scripture is eternal judgment.

Sin will be judged on every level:

All of us individually will one day stand before Jesus and give an account!

Each individual will be judged. (That’s why we preach the gospel):

Hebrews 9:27-28 (NLT)

And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, (28) so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.

Believers will be judged or rewarded:

2 Corinthians 5:10 (AMPC)

For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motive have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with, and given himself and his attention to accomplishing].

Nations will be judged:

Matthew 25:31-33 (NKJV)

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. (32) All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. (33) And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

Satan and the antiChrist will be judged.

Revelation 20:10 (NLT)

Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

We are living in between the age of grace and the age of judgment.

So because of this living in between, things are going to feel a bit awkward and strange if you compare now to the previous years of your life.

7 things to consider about life today and in our immediate future:

1. The only unchangeable thing is the word of God.

Matthew 24:35 (NKJV)

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

Psalms 119:89 (NKJV)

Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.

Isaiah 40:8 (NKJV)

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.”

Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV)

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Read it, memorize it, meditate it, believe it, work it in, walk it out!

2. Great pressure is here to stay.

Luke 21:8-13 (NLT)

He replied, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and saying, ‘The time has come!’ But don’t believe them. (9) And when you hear of wars and insurrections, don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place first, but the end won’t follow immediately.” (10) Then he added, “Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. (11) There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven.

(12) “But before all this occurs, there will be a time of great persecution. You will be dragged into synagogues and prisons, and you will stand trial before kings and governors because you are my followers. (13) But this will be your opportunity to tell them about me.

Luke 21:14-19 (NLT)

So don’t worry in advance about how to answer the charges against you, (15) for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply or refute you! (16) Even those closest to you — your parents, brothers, relatives, and friends — will betray you. They will even kill some of you. (17) And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. (18) But not a hair of your head will perish! (19) By standing firm, you will win your souls.

Luke 21:25-28 (AMPC)

And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth [there will be] distress (trouble and anguish) of nations in bewilderment and perplexity [without resources, left wanting, embarrassed, in doubt, not knowing which way to turn] at the roaring (the echo) of the tossing of the sea, (26) Men swooning away or expiring with fear and dread and apprehension and expectation of the things that are coming on the world; for the [very] powers of the heavens will be shaken and caused to totter. (27) And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with great (transcendent and overwhelming) power and [all His kingly] glory (majesty and splendor). (28) Now when these things begin to occur, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption (deliverance) is drawing near.

3. Sin will become the norm in society, while living godly will be set aside.

It will be like it was in the days of Noah:

Luke 17:26-27 (NLT)

When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. (27) In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all.

They were not aware of what was coming. They were just living life like normal.

Most people have no idea what is coming before Jesus returns. You must warn them!

It will be like it was in the days of Lot:

Luke 17:28-30 (NLT)

And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business — eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building — (29) until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. (30) Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Luke 17:31-35 (NLT)

On that day a person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack. A person out in the field must not return home. (32) Remember what happened to Lot’s wife! (33) If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it. (34) That night two people will be asleep in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. (35) Two women will be grinding flour together at the mill; one will be taken, the other left.

Life will go on just like it has for generations in some ways.

Don’t get caught up and too immersed in the culture. Lot’s wife looked back because maybe she missed the old life…

Don’t cling to the old.

My opinion: Our American idols are being judged right now. Money. Sports. Recreation. Leisure. Hollywood.

Will it ever get back to normal? Who knows.

It’s time to bring yourself into an internal separation from what you like and what you have to have to be happy.

4. A one-world ideology of leadership will emerge.

You now hear the talk of a Global Reset.

30 years ago it was spoken of as the New World Order.

World leaders are pushing for this and want America to join in. Many political leaders in this nation want us to join this reset. Many resist.

Here is what I see regardless of who wins this current election.

If Biden gets into office – we will participate fairly quickly in a global reset. Financing will dwindle. One-world themes will quickly emerge with urges for us to participate in global law and governance (with an embrace of any lifestyle of your choosing); global economy, with an eventual digital currency for the world; and global religion that reduces every religion to serving the same god. This will bring great persecution to Christians and Jews.

If Trump wins in court, we basically have another 4 years before the USA has another opportunity to join the global community. People are really mad at Trump because he is not a globalist. He puts America first. He is a Constitutionalist. And that is why so many of the elites in our country, including the news media, do not like him.

Either way, I see lots of fighting between two groups. God has called us in this time to be peacemakers. Resist the tendency of anger and such. Prepare your family. Get close to your fellow Christians. We need each other now more than ever.

Nonetheless, the antiChrist spirit is prevalent worldwide right now, and is gaining traction. It is only a matter of time before the person that is the antiChrist appears on the world scene in the Middle East.

Daniel 7:25-27 (NLT)

He will defy the Most High and oppress the holy people of the Most High. He will try to change their sacred festivals and laws, and they will be placed under his control for a time, times, and half a time. (26) But then the court will pass judgment, and all his power will be taken away and completely destroyed. (27) Then the sovereignty, power, and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be given to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will last forever, and all rulers will serve and obey Him.

Daniel 8:23-25 (NLT)

At the end of their rule, when their sin is at its height, a fierce king, a master of intrigue, will rise to power. (24) He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause a shocking amount of destruction and succeed in everything he does. He will destroy powerful leaders and devastate the holy people. (25) He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power.

Daniel 11:31-45 (NLT)

His army will take over the Temple fortress, pollute the sanctuary, put a stop to the daily sacrifices, and set up the sacrilegious object that causes desecration. (32) He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him. (33) Wise leaders will give instruction to many, but these teachers will die by fire and sword, or they will be jailed and robbed. (34) During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere. (35) And some of the wise will fall victim to persecution. In this way, they will be refined and cleansed and made pure until the time of the end, for the appointed time is still to come. (36) The king will do as he pleases, exalting himself and claiming to be greater than every god, even blaspheming the God of gods. He will succeed, but only until the time of wrath is completed. For what has been determined will surely take place. (37) He will have no respect for the gods of his ancestors, or for the god loved by women, or for any other god, for he will boast that he is greater than them all. (38) Instead of these, he will worship the god of fortresses—a god his ancestors never knew — and lavish on him gold, silver, precious stones, and expensive gifts. (39) Claiming this foreign god’s help, he will attack the strongest fortresses. He will honor those who submit to him, appointing them to positions of authority and dividing the land among them as their reward. (40) Then at the time of the end, the king of the south will attack the king of the north. The king of the north will storm out with chariots, charioteers, and a vast navy. He will invade various lands and sweep through them like a flood. (41) He will enter the glorious land of Israel, and many nations will fall, but Moab, Edom, and the best part of Ammon will escape. (42) He will conquer many countries, and even Egypt will not escape. (43) He will gain control over the gold, silver, and treasures of Egypt, and the Libyans and Ethiopians will be his servants. (44) But then news from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in great anger to destroy and obliterate many. (45) He will stop between the glorious holy mountain and the sea and will pitch his royal tents. But while he is there, his time will suddenly run out, and no one will help him.

5. Persecution is coming for Christians. Some will fall away.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-6 (NLT)

Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. (2) Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us. (3) Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed — the one who brings destruction. (4) He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God. (5) Don’t you remember that I told you about all this when I was with you? (6) And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes.

Matthew 5:11-12 (NLT)

God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. (12) Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.

1 Peter 4:12-14 (NLT)

Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. (13) Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. (14) If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.

6. An eventual judgment will right every wrong.

2 Peter 3:3-14 (NLT)

Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. (4) They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.” (5) They deliberately forget that God made the heavens long ago by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. (6) Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. (7) And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed.

(8) But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. (9) The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (10) But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment. (11) Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, (12) looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames. (13) But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness. (14) And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.

7. The Holy Spirit will manifest strongly again.

Joel 2:28-32 (NLT)

Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. (29) In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants — men and women alike. (30) And I will cause wonders in the heavens and on the earth — blood and fire and columns of smoke. (31) The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and terrible day of the LORD arrives. (32) But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD

will be saved, for some on Mount Zion in Jerusalem will escape, just as the LORD has said.

These will be among the survivors whom the LORD has called.

Isaiah 60:1-3 (NKJV)

Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. (2) For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. (3) The Gentiles shall come to your light,

and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Ask for the Holy Spirit to be poured out once again all over the world, and in your life and in your church.

Action Points:

How to prepare:

  1. Judge sin in your life, and ask God to help you overcome it.
  2. Read and live by scripture.
  3. Pray with the expectation of answers.

Thanksgiving is Over But Had To Share!

I grew up watching the Father Knows Best tv show. It was one of my favorites.

We need to preserve the goodness of our America. We need to continue to pray that truth, integrity, respect, morals and family values, and mercy and Grace would prevail throughout the United States of America. That we would continue to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. We need to keep the American dream alive and well!  We need a revival!!! ❤️ 🙏 🇺🇸 🌟

🍁Thanksgiving Day Fun🍁

T got to have fun riding his dirt bike today.

🍁Happy Thanksgiving🦃

This Thanksgiving I’m thankful for so many things and at the top of my list is the wonderful husband and son God blessed my life with. I’m thankful for my family and friends and I’m looking forward to the day when this pandemic is over and we can really hang out safely again and enjoy one another’s company. I’m thankful that all our needs are met. I’m thankful that we get to enjoy this Thanksgiving Day together and that we are all in good health. I’m especially thankful for Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross so that we might have eternal life. I’m thankful that in this country we can worship God!  I’m thankful that we can read and study God’s Word and that it’s so readily available in many different versions to help us interpret scriptures better and be able to follow God’s express will for our lives.

Have a fantastic thanksgiving with all your loved ones near and far even if you have to do so over Zoom or FaceTime!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well today I’m 51. Today I’ve thought about this year and all that’s happened. At 51 I can say with certainty I’ve never seen anything like all we’ve been dealing with in this pandemic and politically in my lifetime. All the hate and division has reached a high as never seen before in my lifetime. A way of having to do life that has never been done before. All of the judging and chastising of people groups that I’ve never seen before. The name calling. The blatant wool that’s being pulled over so many Americans eyes about the realities of the times we are living in. All I can think about is what we are leaving for our children and our children’s children in the future because of all that’s taken place in our Nation with the pandemic and politics. Our kids hear what we say but they also see what we adults do as well and what we do has a far larger voice in their lives.  It’s as if no one cares about the example that is being set for the generation coming behind us. As a Christ follower I think about the things we face as if what’s going on was being placed before God himself. Would we make the decisions we are making if we based every decision we made on what God’s Word clearly teaches?  Would our actions be different if we were doing them in front of God himself in the flesh?  If so, then why do we do what we do and make decisions that go clearly against what God would have for us to do? I’ve thought a lot about all of this against what I’ve been seeing in this nation and with this pandemic and as it pertains to my turning 51 this year. It’s heart wrenching to watch or hear about it all. Recently as we drove around downtown and to see what our downtown area looks like because of rioting it brought tears to my eyes.  The future for our nation depends on the things we do now. It depends on our putting God at the center of our lives and having Him as the head of our lives, decisions, and actions. Having Him have the final authority where all matters in our lives are concerned. This has weighed heavy on me for quite some time now. I’ve spent more time reading, studying, and praying than I’ve done in the past. I’m not perfect and don’t claim to be but when I go to be with Jesus it’s my hearts desire that I hear “Well done good and faithful servant!”  I pray for those I love who also love the Lord that they hear the same thing as well!  The judgement seat of Christ is real. We will have to answer for what did and said as well as what we didn’t do and say some day. I implore you all that read my blog to seek God. Really seek God. If I’ve gotten anything out of this year it’s been to seek God more than ever before because we so need His presence now more than ever before in the history of our nation and lives!!!  God Bless you all!  Let’s not remain on the fence but be a voice of God to our nation. A voice that makes changes that honor and give glory to our Father who is in heaven!  Hallowed be His Name!  His Kingdom Come!  His Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!!!  In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen!!!

T Got His Medal Yesterday

T finally got his t-shirt and medal yesterday from the AAU Virtual Nationals he participated in back in October. He got Bronze for his age/rank division in Forms. For someone who’s main focus is sparring it was great that he came away with a medal when he was competing against kids who this is their main focus. He performed the sharpest I’ve ever seen him do in forms. We are so proud of his accomplishments. The Gold and Silver medalist in his division were amazing to watch. It was great to watch kids T’s age performing their forms so incredibly sharp.  T got to get a picture with Master Hyejin Amy Park today while she was in town. It was so good to see her and share this with her. She spent extra time getting him ready for this event and it was so appreciated.

Floor Mats

Once again Craig’s List pays off. 16 40”x40”x1” mats that look almost new to put in our living room to give our boy more cushion for when he’s training.  Just picked them up. Worth the drive to get them for $275 which comes out to about $17 per mat. Much cheaper than we were going to have to pay from any of the martial arts stores we where looking at buying from😁.

Growing Problems...LOL!

The boy has grown even more still. He’s been a growing machine this year during this pandemic. Since the end of January he’s grown 2 1/4” and he has now surpassed his Nan in height. He’s pretty proud of that...LOL!

New Mats for BBW Zebulon

We helped get new mats put down at BBW in Zebulon today. It’s been a long long time coming. So glad to see this happening for the kids.

Americans!

Every Single American, Valid Voter, should be fuming mad at hearing this. This isn’t about republicans or democrats. It’s about a legal vote process that gives us, as Americans, our voice in elections.

Operation Christmas Drop

Netflix has a movie called Operation Christmas Drop. It’s a real organization doing a real mission every year since 1952. The longest running humanitarian aid. If you and your family want to give to a great cause this Christmas consider supporting this organization.

Judy

Just watched the movie Judy on Amazon Prime about Judy Garland’s life. Just an FYI, in the middle of the movie there’s quite a bit of language.  The movie gives insight into her life and why she was how she was in later years. Such an incredible talent that was abused verbally and emotionally by all who should have loved her.  Her life could have been so different if they had. And yet she brought us the joy of a movie that has stood the test of time and families still watch it to this day...The Wizard of Oz!  There’s such truth in the quote below:

How we show love to those in our lives matters a great deal. They should know their importance to us and be shown real genuine love. There should never be any doubt in their minds that we love them without any expectation of anything in return. True love expects nothing in return. True love just loves for the sake of just loving.

What we may have missed having in our own lives doesn’t have to be what we give our kids or loved ones. I’ve always strived to have a better life and be better than the hand I was dealt in life. I don’t let a day go by without my husband and son knowing just how much I them and how much they mean to me.

The movie, Judy, is a reminder of what happens when we don’t love like we should. May we all love immensely those God has blessed our lives with. May they never doubt how much we love them. May their hearts be filled to overflowing with love to give others because we have loved as we ought.

Our Nation...

This picture reflects how gutted I feel over what appears to be the choices and direction of this country. I know that supporting this president and conservative policies automatically makes me a terrible person in some of your minds. For those of you who really know me I’m sure that you are conflicted by that because you know that I’m not a terrible person at all. You know my heart is good and that I only want God’s Best!  I hope that what I think could possibly be coming doesn’t materialize because I want the very best for you all.

Regardless, I will continue to fight for the values I hold dear and still love you, who do not agree with those values, even in the midst of whatever may come. I will continue to pray for justice, truth, freedom, mercy, revival, and miracles in the midst of the storm that our Nation is going through.

T’s Doctor Appointment Yesterday

T went in for his Flu shot yesterday. While there he found out that he needed to get his 12 year old boosters. So the boy ended up with 3 shots yesterday. Two in one arm and one in the other. He’s still been a little sore today on the arm with the two shots. I think it’s mostly muscle because he flinched a little on the first shot. The boys had a lot going on the past couple of days between that and the dentist...LOL!  Hey at least he still hasn’t ever had a cavity. That’s great because by the time I was his age I had had quite a few cavities. So I’m doing something right when it comes to his dental care😁.

T’s Dental Checkup

T had his 6 month dental checkup today. We found out that he has 3 more baby teeth to lose. That was sad news because we may be having to replace his mouthguard every time he loses a baby tooth and grows an adult tooth in its place. Each time an adult tooth grows in his mouthguard doesn’t fit anymore😞. #growingpains

Our Bedroom

After the guys took care of the ceiling in our bedroom we figured everything was off the walls so why not paint and repair the walls in our bedroom. Everything is having to be done a section at a time because there’s no where for the furniture to go...LOL!  We move some furniture to one side of the room and do a section of walls then so on and so forth. Never a dull moment with us...LOL!

We had to do a fix on this wall and it looks great.

Remember I’m always the one taking the pictures but that doesn’t mean I’m not doing anything...LOL! We have several more walls to go before it’s all done. Looking forward to getting everything back in place so I can decorate for Christmas😁.

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Happy 14th Anniversary To Us!!!  I love doing life with my husband and best friend. I’m so thankful that we get to go through this life side by side tackling the obstacles that come our way together.  Even though this year has been crazy because of all the world has being dealing with we’ve made the most of it. We haven’t missed a beat. There have been things to tackle and we’ve got ‘em done. We hear the words “good teamwork” in sports a lot but teamwork has never seen anything like that likes of us before. You rock my world Scot Neal🥰💋!!!  And even though there are moments when we drive one another crazy there’s no place I’d rather be than with you!!!  I love this song because it really says it all and I think about you every time I hear it.

Veteran’s Day!

Thank you!!!  I am so appreciative of all of our armed forces.  I’m thankful for those who gave their lives, who have served, are still serving, and those who will one day serve our nation in the armed forces. God Bless you all!!!

Our Crazy Flexible Kid!!!

Always Something To Do!

We are in the process of getting our walls in our bedroom ready for paint. We have to do them a section at a time. We figured while everything was off the walls from our ceiling being fixed, plus we had the paint, why not paint the bedroom. It really needs it. Since this room will eventually be T’s when we do our master suite down stairs we are painting with that in mind😁. #neveradullmoment

Another Tooth Bit The Dust!

T lost another of his back teeth on the 4th. It because loose so he yanked it right out then placed it with n my hand🙄. He was pretty proud of himself. He stuck a paper towel in his mouth to soak up the blood and just went on with his day. #lifewithaboy #neveradullmoment

Weekend Training!

T and his buddy Chris got to train with Coach Hershberger this weekend. It was good training and worth the time spent. Master Hershberger was very specific in his training this weekend. He worked on an area that T really needs work on . He is going to be doing a lot of fine tuning/drilling things with T from here in out. Fine tuning/drilling areas that really need addressing and where he is really weak.  Can’t wait for T to be able to do more training with this coach. Both of his coaches bring something different to the table and they are so very complimentary to what the other coach is doing. In the end it will make T a well rounded fighter. We are so thankful that T has two fantastic coaches. I love the different ways that both his coaches coach. It’s really great to watch and so beneficial for T.

As we drove to Coach Hershberger for training this weekend we saw this:

We saw so many rainbows every time that we drove to train when GMaster Cann was still alive and even after she passed. Each time we have seen these the training sessions have been fantastic and this weekend kept the trend going. I love how God puts beautiful rainbows in the sky for us to see. It’s always a reminder of so many things for me. And each time we see one without fail something good always happens. It could be a small thing or big thing but it’s always a good thing.

The rainbow always reminds me of God’s blessings to us and when I see one it  keeps me in awe of Him. I love how gracious and good God is to us even when we don’t deserve it. The beauty he surrounds us with just shows what a magnificent God He is!  My love for God far surpasses any love I feel for anything/anyone in my life. I love the people in my life immensely so you can only imagine how much more immensely I love God!!!

I shared what I did above in order to share this...God has orchestrated every step we’ve taken with T on his TKD Sparring Journey. T has great coaches (Master Wasiu and Master Hershberger) because of how God brought the right relationships into our lives for the benefit of T accomplishing his goals with TKD.  We are so thankful for all God has done and is doing in T’s young life to help him grow into an amazing young man. He still has lots to learn but I love his open heart and willingness to learn even through the frustrations that life has thrown his way.

He still trains everyday even though there’s no tournaments in sight for him. He wants to be ready for when competitions resume once things open up from this pandemic.

While we are waiting and training he’s growing. Literally growing. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. He’s becoming a man before our eyes😳. We are having to buy new clothes because he’s growing out of what he has. Clothes for an athlete are expensive because they generally wear one of two brands Adidas or Under Armour. Beyond the physical is mental and emotional growth. He’s acting more like a man but still there’s the kid we’ve known still there. He’s transitioning and it’s as it should be. They are only with us for a short time then when they are grown we just hope and pray that we’ve taught them well and that they will make a positive impact in the world. That they will be a blessing and that they please God in all they do and say.

Keep us in your prayers. We are doing all we can to be safe during this time but we are also ready to move beyond all this and for things to get back to normal. God Bless!

House is done!

It’s been a whirlwind of things going on and I honestly can’t remember if I posted but the house is finally completed. The repairs from the water damage are all taken care of and the house is buttoned back up. We are pleased with everything and are so happy to be on the other side of everything that happened with the roofing fiasco. Now to get everything back in its place and be able to decorate for Christmas😁.
