It's a New Day in the Neal Household - August/Sept. 2023
We met with a weightlifting coach that came highly recommended to us at Athletic Lab. Tim started with him and the Athletic Lab Weightlifting Team two weeks ago. He's into his third week now. Here’s a couple of pictures of the Athletic Lab facility where Tim is training. These aren't my photos but shared from Athletic Lab.
Making the change to olympic weightlifting has been a much needed shift. We are feeling like we can breathe again after 7 long years in competition TKD Sparring. Where a door closes God always opens a window😊. We are in a good place right now and looking forward to what lies ahead for Tim in weightlifting. It's something he's always wanted to do and he is absolutely loving every minute of it.
And the best part is that he isn't having to cut weight anymore. He gets to eat and protein it up. I can't seem to keep enough food in the house...LOL! In just 3 weeks he has jump two if not 3 weight divisions up from where he was in TKD Sparring. We are loving seeing him at a much healthier weight for his size.
