T’s Haircut…

T was finally able to get a haircut today after being sick so long. I got one too but it was just to get dead ends off and put some more layers in. No much new n either my or T’s haircut except his looks so much better now. He really needed the haircut.

My Chiropractor Is Amazing!

Yesterday we got a call from my chiropractor wanting to get me in to get adjusted. He took an hour of his holiday time with his family to do an initial adjustment on me to get me headed in the right direction with my healing process from the rear end collision I had on the 18th. I’m so thankful he made the time. It helped so much. I was instantly able to move more freely. Not totally mind you but it was better. I’m still in pain but it helped relieve some of the areas to where I could move more freely and not feel so incredibly stiff. So thankful for this practice. Dr Bill informed us that had I not been coming in regularly for maintenance adjustments my accident would have caused so much more damage than it did. He took time to explain all the data from the tests he did this past week after the accident to us. We got quite the education.

His diagnosis is that it will take 4-8 weeks to get me back to where I was before the accident but I should be seeing a significant improvement in 2-3 weeks.

Christmas Came Early for T…

Christmas came early for T this year. Best Buy had such great Black Friday deals that we couldn’t resist getting T the only thing he’s really asked for for Christmas, a gaming pc. That’s a gift that we couldn’t hide or keep secret because he had to be involved in showing us what he needed. The geek squad agent was instrumental in helping us not overspend too. They were very knowledgeable and got us a fantastic deal for what T needed a gaming pc to do. They saved us a ton of money. Scot and I were fish out of water listening to the geek squad guy and T talk gaming computer language so he could help us get the right one for T…LOL! We are definitely showing our age on this…LOL!  He loves it though and so incredibly happy right now.  These things have changed so much over the years.

T’s Taekwondo Pictures 10/2022

While we were out running errands today we saw lights on at CORE and we stopped in and picked up T’s pictures. We were so excited to have these.  Such a change from years past. Love these pics.

The Boys On Weight…

Even after Thanksgiving dinner T is under weight for the weight division he will be in next year when he goes to Taekwondo sparring competitions. This kid 😱. I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ where it’s all going because he’s not cutting. In fact he’s eating any and everything that’s not nailed down. Plus he’s still growing and only a couple inches shorter than his dad now...LOL!

Newest Grand Nephew….

So this past Sunday one of my nieces, Rachel, had her 1st baby. He’s so adorable.  I have many great nephews and nieces. All of my great nephews and nieces are so handsome and beautiful but it’s to be expected because all their parents are also handsome and beautiful. I hardly ever get to see them because we all live all over the place but I sure am thankful for Facebook because I get to see pictures of them all the time and that makes my heart so happy 😊.

Welcome to the world newest great nephew!

I took this screen shot from my nieces Facebook page to share with you here.  I was in so much pain from the car accident I had on last Friday and on muscle relaxers the day he was born that I slept most of the day away…LOL!   He was born in time to have his first Thanksgiving ☺️.

Happy Thanksgiving....

Thanksgiving is a time to think about all that you are thankful for in your life.  I'm thankful for so many things in my life but first and foremost is that I know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is my Lord and Savior.  I don't ever doubt it because I know it!  I'm so thankful for all that God has done in my life.  Most recently I'm glad that he kept me protected from being more hurt than I was in the car accident that I had last Friday.  I'm sore but I'm alive and I'm ever so thankful for that!  I'm thankful for my husband and son who outside my relationship with God are my everything.  My husband is my best friend and love of my life.  Our son is such a blessing.  I'm so thankful that God blessed us with him and gave us the privilege of raising him.  He is such a smart and great guy who is growing up all too fast for me...LOL! My life has had many twists and turns and there have been so many times that I have fallen incredibly short in being the kind of Christian that I ought to be but I'm so very thankful that I serve a God that forgives when I come to him humbly asking Him for forgiveness.  I don't know how people who are living without a relationship with God make it in this world we are living in.  I'm so thankful that I have Jesus.  That I can walk with Him and talk to Him anytime of day or night about anything and He hears me and cares about what concerns me.  I'm also thankful for His gentle hand of correction when I need it to help me stay on the path and plan that He has for my life.  Nothing in this world compares to having a close relationship with God.  There's nothing or no one that can ever take His place in my life.  Even though I love my husband and son and would move mountains for them because of my love for them they can't take precedent over my relationship with God.  He has always got to come first.  In our house it is our motto to walk with God and do His will!  Next to God though you bet Scot and T are my priority.  They are my world.  I love them to the moon and beyond and I tell them that often.  We are a close knit family and I pray that it will always be that way.  It is something that we all strive for because we all know what we mean to one another.  On this Thanksgiving Day, 11/24/2022, I pray everyone feels as thankful and blessed as I do in this moment.  All too often we get caught up in so many other things that distract us from what's really important.  It's not the things we accumulate but the relationships that we cultivate that really matter!  Heart to heart. Hand to hand. Face to face.  That's where it's at.  That's what matters most.  Cultivate relationships with those closest and most important to you this holiday season.  You won't regret it nor feel it's a waste of time.  This is why God ultimately created us, For Relationship!  God Bless You All and enjoy cultivating the relationships in your life!

Update on Me:

I have been assessed by the chiropractor. They’ve consulted us. Now we wait for me to be adjusted which unfortunately will be after the holidays. They couldn’t get me worked in beforehand. It totally sucks that my entire holiday has been messed up because of this accident. I can’t do the things I need to do because of being in pain. Just thankful it wasn’t much worse than it’s been.

T Loves 🥰 His New Shirt!

T got a Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Adidas Shirt in the mail yesterday and he loves it.

He can’t wait to see the new movie. He had to miss seeing it with his teammates because of his being sick.

T Working Hard…

Took this pic of T reeling the hose while helping his dad on a commercial client job. He loves working with his dad. He loves to learn all that he can about our business. I love my guys so much and I love watching them work together.  Father’s being involved with their sons makes such a huge impression on them that they will carry with them all of their lives.  Building a father and son relationship is about building a legacy for generations to come. A legacy that is not only built by them but by God as their central focus. Keeping God first and foremost in all they do. We are always cherishing the moments.
