God's Timing...

God's Timing...

There are few things more difficult than waiting.

We pray, we believe, we hope, and then...nothing seems to happen. Days turn into weeks. Weeks become months. Sometimes years pass, and we're left wondering if God heard us at all.

In those moments, it's easy to believe that God is late.

But the truth is, God has never been early, and He has never been late. He is always perfectly on time.

The problem is that we measure time differently than He does. We see today's disappointment, but God sees tomorrow's purpose. We focus on the delay, while God is preparing the destination.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us:

"To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven."

Every season has a purpose.

There is a season of planting before there is a harvest.

A season of preparation before promotion.

A season of pruning before greater growth.

A season of waiting before answered prayers become visible.

What feels like God saying "no" may actually be Him saying, "Not yet."

Looking back over my own life, I can see countless moments where I wanted God to move faster. I didn't understand why certain doors stayed closed or why certain prayers weren't answered when I thought they should have been.

Now I realize that had He answered those prayers on my timetable, I would have missed His very best.

His delays weren't punishments.

They were protection.

His waiting wasn't rejection.

It was preparation.

God sees every detail that we cannot. He knows the people we'll meet, the obstacles ahead, the lessons we still need to learn, and the blessings that require us to become the person He is shaping us to be first.

Sometimes the greatest miracle isn't that God changes our circumstances immediately—it's that He changes us while we're waiting.

Waiting builds faith.

Waiting teaches patience.

Waiting deepens our dependence on Him.

And waiting reminds us that our hope is never in the timing of an answer but in the faithfulness of the One who made the promise.

If you're in a season where nothing seems to be happening, don't lose heart.

Keep praying.

Keep trusting.

Keep obeying.

God is still working, even when you can't see it.

Just because He's silent doesn't mean He's absent.

Just because the answer hasn't arrived doesn't mean it isn't coming.

One day you'll look back and realize that every delay, every detour, every closed door, and every unanswered prayer fit perfectly into God's beautiful plan.

His timing wasn't just good.

It was perfect.

So today, release your timeline into His hands.

Trust His heart when you don't understand His ways.

Wait on His plan with confidence.

And hold tightly to His promises, because the God who began a good work in your life is faithful to finish it—in His perfect time.

I pray that whatever season you're walking through today, you'll find peace in knowing that God's clock has never been wrong. His timing is always perfect because His love for you is perfect. Keep trusting Him—the season you're in today is preparing you for the purpose He has planned tomorrow.
