February 13th SpaceX Crew 12 Launch Seen in NC...

I wanted to share a picture with you here of the SpaceX Crew 12 launch from the 13th that was seen here in the wee morning hours in North Carolina.  The picture I'm sharing was shared to me because I was not awake at that early morning hour to see it for myself.  It's circled in the picture below.

Verse of the Day...

The phrase "coming and going" (v.8) refers to the general activity of life.

TPUSA's Halftime Show....

TPUSA's halftime show this past Sunday was awesome.  It was nice to watch a halftime show that was more family friendly than I've seen in many, many years.  Watching their halftime show reminded me of how the halftime shows used to be when they put making sure it was family friendly of most of importance above everything else.  When they were considerate of the little eyes that were watching.  When it mattered to have a halftime show that was more American than in more recent years.

I really believe that Kid Rock is making an effort to change his image because he himself has changed.  On his last song they highlighted the stage with his real name, Robert Richie.  I know that the public wants to continue to call him Kid Rock but when I saw his real name that's when I knew that he's really trying to make a real change away from how everyone has always associated him as being.  I believe it was his way of saying Kid Rock is dead and now Robert Richie lives and he's living for God.

Mine, Scot and Tim's Caricatures...

You decide which of Tim's you like best.

Graduation To Do List....

This is just one part of what I'm having to do for his Homeschool Graduation from our Homeschool Group.  I've already filled out all the information for his diploma, next is choosing 5 pics from birth to now (that took some time to sift through the pics to use), after that is Tim's bio for the program (which I've gotten done) they will be giving out at the door, then there's our speech that has to be done.  I pretty much have it all done although I keep going back and tweaking it.  So excited for Tim to be done with this portion of his life so that he can move on to what's next for him and for now that will be working with his Dad learning/growing the business and continuing to train and do weightlifting Meets.

Today's Verse...

Trials aren’t presented as optional in this passage — they’re assumed. What is commanded is our response.

James calls believers to count trials as joy, not because hardship is good, but because God uses testing to produce endurance. And endurance, when allowed to complete its work, leads to maturity and spiritual wholeness.

Notice the progression in the text:
testing → endurance → maturity.

Careful observation helps us see that God’s purpose in trials is not to break us, but to grow us.

🖊️ When pressure comes, do you ask God to remove it — or to complete His work through it?

Homeschool Bowling Social last Wednesday...

Tim had a great time at the homeschool bowling social last Wednesday. After the ice from the weekend before everyone was ready to get out of their homes for a bit before the next weather system of snow came in. Here's some pictures:

Snow (from Saturday)...

We ended up with 5" of snow in Wendell, NC. Here's a picture of our flag blowing in the wind as the snowfall came down.

Learning to Drive in the Snow...

We took Tim out on Sunday after it snowed on Saturday for him to learn to drive in the snow.  He did really good driving in the snow.  There's always chances for learning experiences you just have to make the time when circumstances allow for them.  He's always learning something new that will help him navigate life as a man.

Boy Probs....

We did this last night after getting home from Tim's training session. He's almost 18 years old and instead of going through stuff periodically and taking out what he can't wear anymore he just kept piling more clothes on top - and he laughed about this too btw.  Everyone is like that's a boy for you. To me that's just pure laziness. He has tons of space in his drawers for clothes now🙄.  Never a dull moment being a boy mom, that's for sure.
