Thanksgiving is a time to think about all that you are thankful for in your life. I'm thankful for so many things in my life but first and foremost is that I know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I don't ever doubt it because I know it! I'm so thankful for all that God has done in my life. Most recently I'm glad that he kept me protected from being more hurt than I was in the car accident that I had last Friday. I'm sore but I'm alive and I'm ever so thankful for that! I'm thankful for my husband and son who outside my relationship with God are my everything. My husband is my best friend and love of my life. Our son is such a blessing. I'm so thankful that God blessed us with him and gave us the privilege of raising him. He is such a smart and great guy who is growing up all too fast for me...LOL! My life has had many twists and turns and there have been so many times that I have fallen incredibly short in being the kind of Christian that I ought to be but I'm so very thankful that I serve a God that forgives when I come to him humbly asking Him for forgiveness. I don't know how people who are living without a relationship with God make it in this world we are living in. I'm so thankful that I have Jesus. That I can walk with Him and talk to Him anytime of day or night about anything and He hears me and cares about what concerns me. I'm also thankful for His gentle hand of correction when I need it to help me stay on the path and plan that He has for my life. Nothing in this world compares to having a close relationship with God. There's nothing or no one that can ever take His place in my life. Even though I love my husband and son and would move mountains for them because of my love for them they can't take precedent over my relationship with God. He has always got to come first. In our house it is our motto to walk with God and do His will! Next to God though you bet Scot and T are my priority. They are my world. I love them to the moon and beyond and I tell them that often. We are a close knit family and I pray that it will always be that way. It is something that we all strive for because we all know what we mean to one another. On this Thanksgiving Day, 11/24/2022, I pray everyone feels as thankful and blessed as I do in this moment. All too often we get caught up in so many other things that distract us from what's really important. It's not the things we accumulate but the relationships that we cultivate that really matter! Heart to heart. Hand to hand. Face to face. That's where it's at. That's what matters most. Cultivate relationships with those closest and most important to you this holiday season. You won't regret it nor feel it's a waste of time. This is why God ultimately created us, For Relationship! God Bless You All and enjoy cultivating the relationships in your life!

Update on Me:
I have been assessed by the chiropractor. They’ve consulted us. Now we wait for me to be adjusted which unfortunately will be after the holidays. They couldn’t get me worked in beforehand. It totally sucks that my entire holiday has been messed up because of this accident. I can’t do the things I need to do because of being in pain. Just thankful it wasn’t much worse than it’s been.
T Loves 🥰 His New Shirt!
T got a Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Adidas Shirt in the mail yesterday and he loves it.

He can’t wait to see the new movie. He had to miss seeing it with his teammates because of his being sick.

T Working Hard…
Took this pic of T reeling the hose while helping his dad on a commercial client job. He loves working with his dad. He loves to learn all that he can about our business. I love my guys so much and I love watching them work together. Father’s being involved with their sons makes such a huge impression on them that they will carry with them all of their lives. Building a father and son relationship is about building a legacy for generations to come. A legacy that is not only built by them but by God as their central focus. Keeping God first and foremost in all they do. We are always cherishing the moments.

Won’t Be Long….
Won’t be long before T is as tall as his dad. I expect he will surpass him in 2023…LOL! I got this shot just before they went off to work on a commercial project together. I’m so glad T is finally old enough to help his dad on projects. It’s good for Scot to have a helper😊.

Accident Yesterday…
So yesterday this happened. I was completely stopped at a stop light in traffic and was rear ended by someone not paying any attention to their driving🤦🏻♀️. I was the only one in the van because T was doing his last day of drivers ed class online. Go figure 🙄🤦🏻♀️ right?! I’ve been with T all week for his classes and was there until he finished his test then had to go for an appointment. I’ve been listening and watching videos with him and driving even more alert and focused because of being involved in the classes all week. After several hours of being checked at the hospital to make sure there was nothing really wrong with me I was released with knowing that all the pain I’m having is just muscle pain. I’m slow moving with all the muscle soreness and very thankful that it wasn’t any worse than it was. The van was drivable so Scot drove it home. The guy that hit me was not paying any attention to his driving. He’s blessed that I’m not like most people and how I’ve seen folks acting at the scene of accidents. Was I mad 😠? You bet. Acting out in anger doesn’t help matters though. I was calm. I got checked out. I’m thankful to God for His protection in the situation. I have some medicine to help with the muscle pain. All will be good and God will take care of everything.
Everyone hear me out!!! Focus on your driving at all times!!! As they say in drivers ed, “The life you save may be your own!” Set your cell phones to silence when you are driving!!! Nothing is so important that it cannot wait until you are stopped and no longer driving. With the technology that we have today in vehicles there is absolutely no reason that your face should be looking anywhere else but on the road!!! If you want to change a radio station wait until you are stopped!!! If you wanna change the temperature in the vehicle because you are too cold/hot wait until you are stopped!!!
I drove commercially for many years. I’ve personally seen some really bad situations that didn’t have to happen. Almost all accidents happen because drivers are not focused on their driving. Case in point what happened to me yesterday. Folks focus on the road. Set a good example for your kids to follow as well. Let’s face it our kids hear what we say but see what we do. More than ever I’ve been more focused when on the road because all too often almost every car I pass the diver has their cell phone in their hand and that = being distracted. It’s so very important that we teach our kids not to be that person!!! That is all!

T’s 1st Attempt…
Here’s T’s score from his first attempt. So proud of this kid. He’s worked hard for that score.

Last Day of online DMV Classroom….
Looking pretty handsome for his last of the classroom portion of Drivers ED. He has two chances to pass his test today. If he doesn’t pass he will have to take the class again at our cost. Praying that he passes with flying colors. Pray 🙏 in agreement with us. He’s been doing good on all his quizzes this week and there has been a ton of them. #homeschooldmvclass #longweekonline

T’s Doctor Visit Today…
T went yet again to the doctor today. She said that he has a severe sinus infection and has put him on such a strong antibiotic that he has to take a probiotic with it. Oh joy for him. The antibiotic should take care of his infection but because it can cause diarrhea he has to take a probiotic with it. This kid just wants to be completely well and be able to train and be with his team and coach. To top it all off he’s gonna have to miss Thanksgiving in Kentucky because we can’t risk taking anything to his grandparents or his cousin who hasn’t been home from the hospital for very long. Working on making sure he is well for Christmas with them three weeks after Thanksgiving. He can’t wait to get up there and spend quality time with the family. He so loves every chance that he gets to spend time with them.

Christmas Came Early for T….
T’s Maw Maw (aka my mom) got him these new running shoes that he needed for training as an early Christmas gift. He can’t wait to be able to use them when he does his body coach training and running once he’s well enough to actually train. They came in the mail yesterday. Thank you Maw Maw. He loves them.
