Pics from the Poomsae Seminar Yesterday

It was a long full day of training yesterday at Carolina Kicks. T loves every chance we get to have back down here Training.  T loved getting to spend some time with GMaster Wu learning how to be even sharper with his forms.

T loves Grand Master Wu and really enjoyed the Poomsae Seminar with her this morning at Carolina Kicks. He learned a lot from her today. Hoping that he remembers everything she taught. 

T Working on His Leadership Skills (8/8/2019)

T got to do more leadership with the Phoenix kids. He enjoys helping teach class. He got to lead stretching exercises with them and do kicking combinations with paddles and they got to kick his chest gear doing their kicking combos. He’s really beginning to learn how to be a good leader. I love watching him help with class. Here are some pictures that I took with my phone.

T loves to doodle and draw in his spare time. He’s working on a graffiti sketch right now.

With T being in a testing cycle at Black Belt World for his 3rd degree Black Belt he has to attend all the classes. Even the sparring ones. He mainly does his sparring training with Carolina Kick’s and not Black Belt World. Most of what his home Dojang does is more old school sparring. Most of what T does with his sparring team is new school and what is currently being used in competitions today. What always impresses me is how limber this kid is. I wish I was as limber as he is.

T’s 1st Pretest is Done!!!

T did his first pretest for his 3rd Dan black belt testing cycle tonight. He did awesome. His Masters were very pleased with his performance of his poomsae (Forms) and his creative poomsae (Forms).   Here are some pictures and I’ll post a video in a little bit of all his forms that he did.

Tuesday at Great Wolf Lodge 2019

T and his cousins had a blast at the water park yesterday. So much to do. The slides are so much fun but so is the big water station where the buck drops a lot of water. Check out the pics.
