BBW’s 122nd Black Belt Testing Cycle (July-December 2019)
And so another black belt testing cycle begins. T is going for his 3 Dan. Graduation won’t be until December though. He’s excited about belting up. #GoingAfterHisGoals #WorkingHard

Endurance Training 6/16/2019
T worked on his forms and did some endurance training all on his own last Sunday afternoon. Here’s of short video clip of some of what he did.
Jeep Driveshaft
Scot’s had to work on the Jeeps driveshaft today. Ordering a new one to put on it but it’s going to be possibly 5 days before we get it so he’s been doing what he can to the old one to limp it along until we get the new one. So thankful for a husband that knows how to work on vehicles. Just to show you how much they’ve changed driveshafts over the years here’s a pic of a driveshaft from his old Jeep (I believe it was a 90’s model) and then the next pic after will be the one out of our 2006 Jeep. The old one you could grease/oil but the new ones sealed pretty good so you can’t do much to it at all.

More Training Camp Pics
Here are some more training camp pics. Some of them are with paddles and some aren’t but they are all drills that they were practicing to hone in on and land them correctly.

Kicking Drills
Here are some pictures of T doing kicking drills. He has so loved being at training camp. He has learned so much in just one year of being on the Carolina Kick’s Soarring Team.

KPNP Training
The team did kicking drills on Bob with the electronic gear. They all got a chance to kick to score so they could see what it takes to score on the KPNP gear. It is harder to score with this gear verses the Daedo gear. T has his fight face on though in this picture.

Endurance Training This Morning
Here’s a pic to show you how much T is sweating:

Speed and endurance.

Practicing trying to place his arms where they should be to protect himself during kicking drills.

Top Golf with the Team
T had a great time doing Top Golf with the team today. They are all training so hard it’s nice to get a fun break.

Week 2 of Training Camp
Here are some more pictures from training camp. Some of them may be from Saturday but most are from yesterday. Some of them you may see T in a jacket. Master Wasiu is doing hard training and wants him uncomfortable and on weight (and he’s within a couple of pounds of weight) so that when he gets to Florida for his fights they will seem easy in comparison to the training he’s had these two weeks. Most of the pictures I’ve been sharing with you have been of them doing drills. T is getting better and more limber with each training and each stretching session that he has with Master Calvin.
He is so relaxed here stretching with his teammate. Before going to Master Calvin for professional stretching he could not move his body like this. Master Calvin unlocked his hip flexors.

This exercise is for endurance and speed.

This last picture was from doing a spinning hook kick drill.

He is having a great training camp and his dad and I can’t wait to see how that translates to his fights in Florida. T’s confidence level is up and he is tweeking his skills. Master Striker has been there too and he’s had some things to bring to the table to help the kids that Master Wasiu hasn’t. Master Wasiu and Master Striker make a great team of coaches. Master Striker is more articulate and T loves that about him because T’s very articulate himself. The kids are getting more comfortable with both coaches so that no matter who’s in the coaches chair when they fight they will do well. #CarolinaKicks #WeCannWeWill #allhonortoGod #neverforgettingGMasterCann

Father’s Day
Happy Father’s Day to the most amazing dad ever, Scot Neal!!! You are such a great role model for our son. He loves you so much!!! Even though we are apart for the first time ever on this holiday because of sparring training camp we wanted to make sure to make this post for you. God gave me such a wonderful and precious gift when he gave me you and then gave us T. He thinks the world of you and misses you like crazy when we’re apart while he’s doing training. The time he gets to spend with you means so much to him. He loves being in the shop with you and doing just about anything with you. Even though gaming isn’t our thing T loves that you will just spend time with him watching him while he plays. You are his hero, his friend, and ultimately his dad who means everything to him! Our son will grow up to be a good man and father because of the example you are for him. We will celebrate with you when we get back home! Happy Father’s Day and make time for yourself today! We love you to the moon and beyond!
