Getting off the toy box was just as easy as getting on.

Daddy's Solution

Scot went to work right away on a solution to the problem of Timmy getting past the gate and climbing the stairs. Here are the pictures of Timmy checking it all out.

"So now let's figure out how I'm going to get around this?!"

Let me show you what else I can do

Recently Scot and I were in this room talking for a moment and the next thing we know we are hearing, "bump,bump,bump,bump." We turned to see that our son had gotten around that baby gate and up the stairs. He took the express route down. Thank God that in his fall he didn't get hurt. No bumps, bruises, or nothing. We were at a loss to how he did this until he tried to do a repeat performance. We got it on camera for you all to see.

"Move!"

"Yes I'm looking back to see if Mommy and Daddy are watching."

"I know I'm a smart boy....hahaha."

"Yeah, check me out. I'm on the other side."

"OK, now to climb the stairs. Mommy and Daddy say, 'Not!'"

"Hey, Does this thing have rollover minutes?"

Timmy decided to walk around the house this evening playing with his Handy Manny phone. All he kept saying was hello while holding it to his ear. It was so cute that I had to get a couple of pics of it.

"Hello!" (That is actually what he was saying...lol)

"Can you believe this, another telemarketer right when I'm getting ready to eat. I think I'll hang up."

Our New HVAC Unit

After a couple of days of no heat it is nice to have heat again. I wish I had a picture of the old unit so that you'd have something to compare the new one to but trust me the old one was much much smaller. Actually the new one is four times as big as the old one. It was an 8 seer and the new one is a 15 seer. And man is there a difference!!! We had the thermostat set on 70 today and had to bump it down because the house was getting so warm...lol. In the picture below you will see what a monster the new machine is. We are having fun getting used to our new system.

A huge Praise Report is that because of the payment arrangement that was made we received extra parts and upgrades needed for the unit for free. We are certainly glad that God is our provider. Praise God for the provision!!!

"A kid with a new toy" box

Today Uncle Jeff and Aunt Elaine showed up with a new toy box that Uncle Jeff made for Timmy. It's a late Christmas present from his Uncle and his family. It is really nice and Timmy loves it. Here are some pictures of it.

Timmy had just woke up from his nap when we showed him his new toy box.

"Oh boy this thing is HUGE."

"This lid is so cool and fun to play with."

"Now let's see if I can move this thing to where I want it to go. Nope, that thing aint movin'."

"I'm going to like this. Thanks Uncle Jeff for making this for me."

"Oh boy my train can even fit into it. How cool is that!"

"Yes, I'm checking it out one more time."

Another Snow Fall...

Here's a very pretty picture of a tree in our front yard of the snow fall we received last night. It's too bad that it melted so fast. It's almost all gone from the sun we received today.

New Things Timmy has learned to do....

In one day Timmy learned how to come off his slide a different way, to push one of our cushion footstools over to our front door, and he also learned how to throw his leg over the baby gate to get to the other side. We didn't get a pic of him trying to put his leg over the gate and he hasn't tried to do that again so next time he tries it I'll do my best to get a pic so that you can see...lol.

"Yes, I'm going to jump off this slide just like this Mommy."

"Let's see what this does."

"Oops, I just got caught on camera."

"I guess it doesn't matter now that I got caught...lol"

"Happy" and "Kiss"

Happy and Kiss are two new words that Timmy started saying yesterday. Yesterday evening when Timmy came up to me and said kiss I said it back and then he leaned in and kissed me. It was so sweet and cute. Talk about melt your heart and make your day. That definitely did both.

He is also putting more words together. He said, "cup please" to me today when he wanted something to drink. It was so cute. I love hearing him say new words and putting them together. It is just so cute to hear.

Laundry Time

A couple of days ago Scottie was being a big help to me by helping get the laundry out of the dryer. Timmy decided to help his Daddy and here's the pics of the event. Enjoy!
