Driving Suit

Uncle Jeff, Aunt Debbie, and Cousin Corey got Timmy a driving suit for Christmas and he wore it for the first time today. He looked so cute in it that we had to take some pictures for everyone to see.

"DaDa and I looking cute for the camera."

"I'm having so much fun. This driving suit sure it comfy."

"MaMa says we are her two handsome men."

"I'm ready to drive now so where's my car?"

Snow and Teething

It's hard to believe that we had so much snow the other day. It is all melting away now. The roads are clear and most of the snow in our yard has melted except what is in the back of our house and that's only because the sun hardly shines back there. I hope we see more of the white fluffy stuff before the winter is over.

As you all know, Timmy got his second tooth this week. Well, we noticed last night that his top two front teeth are also coming in. Timmy's been such a bear the past few days that I knew it was more than just that one tooth. When I saw last night that his upper two were coming in I knew why he had been such a bear. I'd be fussy too if I had that much pain going on in my mouth at one time. Thank God for Motrin though because it takes the edge off the pain. I wish it took it all away. I hate that he's in pain and I can't take it away:-( but the up side to it all is that he will soon have four teeth. It will be cool if they are all in good enough for when we do his 9 month milestone pictures.

2nd Tooth

Timmy has been a bear for a couple of days now and he finally cut his second tooth tonight. I was so glad to see it cut through his gums. Now he has two bottom teeth. Yea!!!!!!!!!!!! It will probably be a while before I'm able to post a picture of his new tooth. I'm so proud of him because even though he was a bear with cutting this tooth it was nothing like it was with the first tooth. Scot and I lost sleep when he was cutting his first tooth. We were better prepared this time around and knew what to do to help him sleep while cutting this tooth. Motrin is a wonderful thing. I'm not big on giving kids drugs but to keep my sanity, help his pain, and help him sleep I'll give him the Motrin. Tylenol doesn't touch the pain but Motrin does. The only bad thing is that babies have to be at least 6 months old to be able to take the Motrin. I feel for the moms with babies cutting teeth at three months old and all they can give them is Tylenol. Praise God that Timmy didn't cut his first tooth until he was almost seven months old. Anyhow, I just thought you would might want to know about his second tooth. Talk at ya later.

Timmy finding out what snow feels like

"Wow, it's fluffy and cold"

"Let's see if it's any less cold this time."

"Nope. It's still pretty cold."

Removing ice from HVAC unit

"This is ice! It's what happens to water when it gets too cold."

Charlie, big dog, and Dexter, little dog, had fun in the snow today.

"Hey Charlie this white stuffs pretty good. It tastes better than the stuff in the white bowl."

"Charlie I told you not to eat the yellow snow."

We are up to 6-7"

Here are some pictures of Scot, Timmy, Charlie, and Dexter in the snow. Enjoy!

This tree is in our front yard heavy with snow.

A closer picture of Scot in front of the tree with the heavy snow.

Timmy's first snow. He seems to like the little white fluffy stuff.

Dexter and Charlie have loved playing in the snow.

SNOW IS HERE!!!

These are pictures out in the front of our house. I took them from inside. We will venture out later this afternoon with Timmy once the snow stops and get some more pictures for you all to see.

Cutting Teeth

Yesterday morning Timmy was a bear. He was fussy and crying most of the morning. I couldn't figure out what the problem was. I thought maybe it's a belly ache but his belly wasn't hard like it usually is when his belly is bothering him??? I thought maybe he was just overly tired because we had been out and about the day before but he didn't seem to want to go to sleep??? Well, this morning I saw why he was so fussy yesterday. Timmy is finally cutting another tooth on the bottom. It seems like it has taken forever for this second one to decide that it wants to present itself to the world. We are actually seeing where it's about ready to break through his gums. I will be glad when this one is actually through. Once this one comes through I'll take a picture for you to see both of his teeth. We go for Timmy's 9 month milestone pictures next month and I'm hoping that both of his teeth will show up in the photos. That will be so cute.

Timmy pulled up to a standing position tonight

Tonight as I was letting Timmy have some play time on the floor he pulled himself up to a standing position. The toy that he is pulling up on is one that his Maw Maw got for him for Christmas. He loves this toy. It was made with encouraging little ones to pull up, stand, and walk in mind. It certainly encourages that. Here are some pictures.

"This toy does so many different things. It's lots of fun to play with."

"Awwwwww, Ma Ma has the camera again. I better do a cute pose. Ain't I so cute?!"

"I can stand I know I can. I did it. Yea!!"

"Oops, I haven't got the hang of it just yet. My feet slid out from under me but I sure can hang on."
