Dinner at Red Robin

We went to Red Robin on Monday evening (12-15-08) for dinner. Everyone had a good time. It was Scot's nephew, Joshton's, first time at Red Robin. They don't have one back in Kentucky where he's from. Joshton got the Monster Burger. I wish that I had got a picture of it because it's really big. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Here are some pictures from our dinning experience:

Timmy was all smiles. As you can see we pushed all the food away from him so he couldn't reach it.
"I'll take care of the bill."

"It was that much?! Maybe you should take care of it Daddy!"
We couldn't leave without a picture of everyone with the big red bird.

Christmas Came Early For Timmy

Christmas came early for Timmy. Scot's family is down for a visit as you all should know by now if you have been keeping up with the blog. Anyhow, they brought lots of gifts for Timmy. The pictures below is of him opening one of the many gifts that were given to him. Enjoy!

"I had a good time opening my gifts. Thanks everyone for all my gifts! I love you!"

Scot's Family Arrived Today

It's 12:30am as I am writing this. Scot's family arrived earlier today. Timmy had just woke up when they arrived so I grabbed the camera and met them as they were coming up to the back deck with Timmy. Here are some pictures of Scot's family with Timmy:

Here's Nan with her grandson. She is so excited to see him.

7 Months Old

Timmy is 7 months old today. I thought I'd take some pictures for the occasion. He loves to play with his toys in his highchair. It's also the only place that the dogs won't get his toys. Enjoy the pictures!

"Not more pictures! Haven't you taken enough already?!"

What a face! We caught him in the middle of a laugh/scream.

"That orange light on the camera sure is interesting."

"I love toys that I can chew on. Thanks cousin Tristan for giving me this toy. I like it a lot!"

Monday Evening

Monday evening I was doing some paper work for our business and Timmy and his Daddy were having some play time together. After I was done with the paper work this is how I found Timmy:

Stages and Changes

I just wanted to take a moment and give you a picture review of how much Timmy has changed since he's been born.

This was taken right after he was born.

He's about a month old here.

He's three months old in this picture. This is one of our proofs from that photo session. I haven't had time to actually scan in the pictures.

This one was just taken for his 6 month picture and Christmas pictures.

Anyhow, that is an overview from birth to now. Enjoy looking at the pictures.

Explosive Diaper

OMW (oh my word), When Scot went to get Timmy out of his high chair this evening he thought he smelled something and did the butt smell test (you know the one all us moms do just before going somewhere) and was puzzled and asked me to smell and I didn't smell anything. But, when Scot turned him around facing my direction Timmy's shirt lifted some and then I saw it. There it was on his white onesie that he had on under his shirt. It was green and yucky. He had poohed big time and it went up his front. How gross!!!

This was our first experience with a blow out and the process of taking care of it was too funny. I wish that I had the camera handy so you could see how funny the clean up from it was. I'm glad that Scot was home when it happened b/c having to take care of it by myself would have been even more funny I'm sure.

Anyhow, I just had to share with all you moms and dads b/c I'm sure you understand and can imagine how it was.

HOORAY FOR SLEEP!!!

After giving Timmy some Infant Motrin last night he slept good!!! He and I got some much needed rest b/c there hasn't been much rest over the past four days with him cutting his first tooth. Even though I'm not a fan of giving meds it was such a blessing when I gave him the motrin and he slept. Praise God for motrin!

Timmy has had such a good day today after getting the rest he needed. I've had a good and productive day also b/c I got some much needed rest. I'm very excited about that.

Well I'm going to go and give Timmy a little snack (maybe some baby bananas) b/c he slept through lunch today and he will be eating his dinner in a little while.

Doctor Visit Yesterday and More

Timmy has been a bear for a few days now. We found out the day after Thanksgiving that my sister's son had strep throat which Timmy was exposed to on Thanksgiving Day. So because Timmy had been so fussy and pulling at his right ear I decided to take him to the doctor yesterday to make sure he didn't have strep and that he didn't have an ear infection. He doesn't have either. The fussiness we were experiencing was just from teething and the doctor confirmed that. He also said Timmy had a little bit of a cold so we are keeping an eye on that. The doctor also found some build up of wax in Timmy's right ear that we are using drops for in order to get it all cleaned out. All this at the same time that he is cutting a tooth. No wonder he was so fussy.

It's so exciting that Timmy cut his first tooth yesterday. It's not to where we can get a good picture of it yet but as soon as it is we'll post a picture. I just hate that he had to have so much happening at once:-(.

Anywho, just wanted to let you all know how eventful the last few days have been for me with Timmy. You hate to see them in pain and not be able to do anything to take it away. It's so sad:-(.
