Everything's Coming Up Photography....In Spring of 2023

I figured that I take enough photos for family and friends for free that I needed to start my own business.  Everyone is always saying how great my photos are so now I'm going to see if I can turn what I love into something I can earn money doing.  I decided to call my business Upper Image Photography.  I decided on the word Upper for several reasons.  One because I'm always looking Up to God who is my everything.  Two because my goal will be excellence and keeping things on the Up and Up with every client.  Three because I'm always pushing myself onward and Upward in all that I do.  So the term Upper just seemed to fit.  I've started an Instagram and Facebook page for the company and I'm working on building a website.  Getting going on social media is easy but doing a website and getting it just the way you want is a horse of a different color so to speak.  We are literally in the process of figuring out the logistics of it all.  I'm looking forward to how God will guide us as I move forward in this venture with photography.  Pray for me as we continue to seek God in all that we do and the steps that we take moving forward with this photography venture.  Here is a Logo pic that I've made along with a banner that I've made to use on social media and the website.

A Family Pic of Our Niece and Her Family...

William's been home a while now and he's doing so good.  This kid is such a trooper.  We are so thankful to God for all He has done for our great nephew.  Watching God work throughout everything that William went through and seeing him come out on the other side of it all has been amazing.  We serve such an amazing God.  All Glory, Honor and Praise to Him!  Here's the family pic of who you all have been praying for throughout everything.

Homeschool Win!

T has always been a great student. Math has been his hardest subject even though he has kept straight A’s. This year he’s turned a huge corner and no longer hates it and that is a huge WIN. It’s the first subject he wants to do now and it’s all because we switched his math curriculum to CTC Math. I can’t say enough great things about this curriculum. I love that we homeschool and that I get to see the excitement of learning in my sons eyes instead of a teacher in a school in a classroom. I get to watch his mind work and see him learn and grow. It’s blessed our hearts so much to have these years of teaching our son. We take seriously training our son in the way he should go so when he’s old he won’t depart from it. I love that his dad gets to be involved in his schooling too. Thank you God for guiding us to homeschool even before we even had T. Thank you God for these years that we are cherishing with our son.  Thank you God for your guidance all along the way as we’ve been doing this homeschool journey. There’s not a challenge that we can’t face because you are the center of our world!  #JesusIsLord  #homeschooling4theWIN #ctcmath #learningisfun #proudparents

Core Black Belt Testing Yesterday…

Yesterday Core had a black belt testing that we helped at. T helped with the Daedo system and refereeing.  I of course took pictures. Scot recorded the videos. Such a busy day and a blessing to be a part and watch T’s Master, Master Douglas earn his 5th Dan Black Belt. T’s Grand Master, Grand Master Jun Lee, was there as one of the judges. Here are a few pictures I got of T, his Master and his wife who earned her 2nd Dan,  T’s Master and his Grand Master and a group shot.

T Getting It Done...

T has been getting his schoolwork done this evening after spending a long day on a commercial project with his dad.  He's been getting after it.  I was home taking care of a ton of paperwork for the end of the year.  Still so much more to do though.  Never a dull moment around here.  Good thing we hardly ever watch any tv anymore.  There's not enough time for it and here we are in the height of Christmas movie time too.  I'm gonna havta record them and hopefully I'll find time to watch them before Christmas actually gets here...LOL!
