Shoes

Just had to do a thing and order the boy new shoes to train in. His toes are at the end of his other ones😳. I hate having to buy shoes for him. Especially ones that he can train in because he needs good shoes. So we got the Adidas Ultrabounce. Can we say ouch🤕. Paying for those hurt but it’s needed so we suck it up and do what’s necessary. Here’s what they look like:

He’s going to be so excited when they get here which could take about 10-15 days. Ordered them while he was training tonight with his coach so he doesn’t even know yet🤭. 

Deck Project

This may be a process to get this done. But at least we got started. We had to go to 3 dump sites to offload what we took off today. 

Happy Birthday Nan!

It’s Nan’s Birthday today. T wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday and I did this video collage of her and T through the years for her to enjoy!  T so loves his Nan and is excited to share this video with her😊.

TenderFoot

The darker spots are the tender spots on T’s feet. He’s been working on his footwork and he’s a tenderfoot right now😭. Lots of pain but the gain will be worth the pain in the long run. 1st Official Day Back Training

Today is T’s first official day back training. He’s so excited but I’m sure he’ll be worn out tonight too. Here’s a picture of him stretching after his workout with his coach this morning through zoom.

New Roof Material

This is a sample. The real shingle for the roof is twice as long. It’s a metal roof with a lifetime warranty. They come out on the anniversary of installation every year to examine it and make sure nothing needs addressing. 

It is literally the last roof we will ever buy for this house. We are loving this company. They do windows, doors, and siding as well. Looking forward to a long lasting relationship with this company. 

All Clear!!!

Earlier this evening T got the all clear to go back to full training. We have a very excited boy in our house right now. It’s going to kick his butt at first but I’m sure it won’t be long before he’s back to where he was before his injury. #lifewithaneliteathlete
