Tornado hits Raleigh
Here are some pictures that I swiped from some friends of mine of the damage that the tornado did as it came through Raleigh today.
Wow!! I saw some video footage of damage. Terrible. Were you effected at all? Assume not since you didn't mention it. Did the tornado hit anywhere near our old place?
It didn't hit us but it was probably within a mile in a half of us. It didn't go near our old place either. It started at South Saunders Street, went through downtown, and took a track up Capital Blvd towards Wake Forst. PTL that only one or two in our church congregation was hit. We took up an offering to help them out. Samaritans Purse has set up a headquarter near where they live to help all the victims effected by the storm.
