And so the story goes....

So, I know it has been a while since I've actually blogged. This blog probably won't have any pics like most of my other blogs do. I just wanted to give you a quick update on things with us.

Timmy is 13 months old now. He is a very active little man. He loves to explore everything. He finally figured out how to get into his toy box a couple of weeks ago all by himself. He can reach down into it and get his toys out also. He has learned how to take the trash can lid off our kitchen trash can. He only had to see his Dada do it once and he had it. That is how Timmy is with most everything. He only has to see or do it once and he has it. Back in May I had him in his stroller and didn't buckle him in and he figured out how to get out of it all on his own. I turned around to talk to his Dad and turned back around and he was out of it walking around. So, Scot and I promptly put him back in it to see exactly how he got out of it and we laughed when he repeated it. He has also, just recently, learned how to get out of his buckle in the stroller so strapping him down does no good. Just a couple of nights ago he learned how to climb up on the sofa. If there is anything that is important to us we better have it up and out of his reach or he will have it. He is something else to say the least. But, I'm loving every minute of it. He most certainly keeps me busy.

Our business, A Clean Solution, is doing well. Scot has been very busy running the business while I stay at home with Timmy. For those of you who don't know what we do just click on our company name above and it will take you to the company website. Scot has been certified in carpet repair over the past year and that has proven to be great. I didn't realize how much he'd use that certification until he got it.

As far as me, I stay at home with our son. My staying at home and raising our son is very important to Scot and I. We don't want daycares or our school system to raise our son. I'm sure many of you can understand why. Other than take care of the house and Timmy I help with the administrative portion of our business. Since I enjoy that better than Scot he loves that I help with that.

With Father's Day coming up my thoughts are on Scot and what a great husband and father he is. If you know the line of work we are in you know that Scot works very hard. He not only works hard at work but he is a great help to me when he gets home in the evening. God has blessed me more than I could have ever imagined. Women don't take what your husbands do for granted. If you have a husband who works hard at his job and comes home and helps out at home also be sure to Thank God! There are a lot of women out there who wish they had men like that in their lives so be sure to let your husbands know how much you appreciate all they do. Scot and I have such a deep love for God and because of that we also have a deep love for one another. He is my best friend and the love of my life. Every day is such a joy because he is in my life. Be sure to make Father's Day special for your husband. Let him know just how much you love and appreciate him. Don't just do that on Father's Day but everyday!

If I don't blog again before Father's Day just let me say to all the Dad's out there Happy Father's Day!
