Slideshow Pics for LH Graduation...

The collage I'm sharing with you are the five pictures that between myself, my husband and Tim have been chosen for the slideshow at graduation.  You might be wondering why I'm getting things done so early?  Because once January hits we will be busy with weightlifting events as well as my mom possibly having knee surgery.  I need to have all my ducks in a row so to speak so I don't have to think about taking care of the graduation stuff because it will already be done.

I still can't believe he's actually graduating High School in May.  It seems like he has grown up so fast even though we have taken the time to cherish all the moments with him along the way.

New Weight Divisions to Start on August 1, 2026...

IWF is once again changing the Olympic weight divisions.  After looking at them I see where it will actually work better for the weightlifters in the lighter divisions.  How it was before didn't help them very well.  The toggling they were having to do was nuts.  The ones highlighted in red are the ones that are NOT an Olympic weight division.  We think Tim will end up in the 75kg weight division by the time August rolls around and he grows and fills out more but we will have to just wait and see.  Here's the old/new division that will start in August:

VWS1 Meet - The Arnold 2026...

Tim's signed up for his first Junior Lifting Meet! A local Meet might be on the horizon first, but this marks his first official entry as a Junior Lifter. He's pumped to compete at this event again and is looking forward to the journey ahead as a first-year Junior Lifter in 2026. Lots to still learn, but he's embracing the experience.

State Fair with Mom Yesterday...

Yesterday was Senior day at the State Fair so Tim and I took mom so that we could see the exhibits.  I got to get my Corn on the Cob.  It's my favorite thing to get at the fair.  I probably met all my move goals for the month walking around that place.  It's a lot bigger than it used to be.  Tim went kicking and screaming because it's just not his thing but I wanted him there to help be a buffer for my mom so she didn't get bumped around or hurt in the crowds.
