T'Money's "New" Mantra

T on USAT’s State of Play….

State of Play shows the pathways to success in USA TaeKwonDo. T made the State of Play board with his Grand Prix Bronze Medal win. What that means is that he gets to fight at team trials in 2023. Learning to Split Wood....

Scot taught T how to split wood today.  I got a video but I don't want to be put in YouTube jail so I'm not going to upload the video into it but I'll share some pics that I took.

 

Core Nerf Wars Tonight…

The kids had a blast at nerf wars at Core tonight. Nerf darts everywhere. I bet they will be finding nerf darts In unusual places for a long while…LOL! Here’s some pics of T having a blast with his buds. 

Core Referee Seminar w/Master Freddie McDonald Jr.

Today Core had a referee seminar.  All the kids learned a lot and enjoyed their time with Master Freddie.  Here are some pics I got of T and Scot at the seminar today.

Update on Mom...

Moms gallbladder surgery went well and she's in recovery and will be able to come to my house later this afternoon. I have to watch her for the first 24 hours. It could take up to 5 days before she's able to drive. I'm thinking just a few days though.

Mom Update....

My mom was admitted into Cary Wake Med last night and will be having her gallbladder taken out today. I'm in waiting mode at home to pick her up afterwards.  They do a same day release on surgeries of this nature. She will be coming back to our house to recover because it can take up to five days before she can drive again. If there is any new news to report I'll do another update.  We appreciate all prayers for her quick recovery from this.  She has had a tough year with her hip replacement and now this.

T's Doctor Appt. Today...

So took T to the doctor today because he's been complaining since Saturday that he can't hear out of his right ear. I figured it was from him being sick or either wax build up so I was just going to let it go and see if it cleared up on its own but it hasn't. The doctor was glad I brought T in. She said if that goes unchecked he could lose hearing in his ear altogether. She has T on some meds to hopefully dry the fluid out and if his hearing isn't coming back in that ear by Thursday she is gonna do an emergent ENT visit for T same day. T's doctor is awesome! She has always done right by him and took good care of my boy. I trust her judgement and she trusts mine after all that we have been through together over the years with T. Pray this clears up by Thursday and T's hearing in his right ear is restored. We are believing and praying for total healing in his right ear. Thank you for agreeing with us in prayer.

Prayers For William...

I realize that I've made posts without explanations of our nephew William that has caused some of my friends and family to wonder what happened to William.  I wanted to give an update/prayer request for you all.

Today William is in a very long surgery to repair an AVM brain bleed.  Initially they did surgery to stop the bleed.  Afterwards they had to allow time for healing and swelling to go down in his brain.  He recovered from that much better than the doctors ever expected.  PT was overly pleased with all the progress he made since the initial surgery.  Once the swelling went down they could do the tests they needed to do to see what they needed to do in his next surgery to repair the area.  They did all of that on Friday and were able to map out exactly what needed to be done and they are repairing it all as I type this to you now.  Be praying for William throughout the rest of today.  Keep him, the surgeon, and the staff assisting the surgeon in your prayers for the absolute best outcome.  For God to guide them every step of the way.  For Williams recovery to be quicker than is expected.  Thank you for your prayers.
