Proud Parents Moment

This year this guy turned double digits. This year has been a whirlwind year too. A year of more competitions than he’s ever done. A year of lots of changes of getting him where he needs to be and with the coaches/Masters that he needs to be with. It hasn’t went the way we thought it would go. Our plans and path for him were much different than what’s happened. Our plans aren’t God’s plans though. God sent us sailing through an unexpected door and changes happened quickly. New coaches and New Team but this change has brought such a spark back into our boy. He’s happier now in his training than we’ve seen in a long while. This change was needed for him and us as a family. God sees all and he always does the unexpected in our lives. We make plans and paths to go down But God changes it all so quickly. Timothy’s love for TKD sparring has reached new heights. He’s grown so much and continues to grow even more as he continues to learn more in this sport he loves so much. We are so appreciative to all the TKD instructors, Masters, and coaches who have poured into him so far in this journey and who are continuing to pour into him now with his new coaches/Masters. He’s not such a little boy anymore. We are seeing more and more of a really great young man before our eyes. #proundparentmoment #greatkid

T got his highest score to date today. He has so loved taking bowling lessons. 

Training at Progressive TaeKwonDo Today

Good training session today. T did one of the new moves that Master Wasiu taught him at training today on one of the boys and he dropped to the ground. And we of course totally missed getting it on camera. T was like it worked...LOL! I was like well of course it works...LOL!  In a couple more months of training with Master Wasiu T won’t be able to train with the Sunday kids anymore for concern of hurting one of them...LOL!  

The Teams New T-shirts

Bon Coup is French for Gooood Sidekick. They had it done because Master Wasiu tells the kids all the time goooood sidekick...LOL! 

The entire team showed theirs to Master Wasiu and presented him with his shirt😁.

Tonight’s Training Pics

Camera batteries are dead. Gonna have to charge them tonight. Here’s what I was able to get of training tonight. T got to train with Christopher tonight. Christopher is going to be so good for T. When T gets to where he spars him good then we will have quite a fighter on our hands. Christopher is a rising 9th grader and T is a rising 5th. There’s much that T will be able to be glean and learn from him.
