RIP Grand Master Missy Cann

Last year at USAT GA State Championships Timothy had the privilege of meeting and being coached by Grand Master Cann. Immediately Timothy connected with her like we’d known her for years. She and I hit it off as if we’d known one another all our lives. Grand Master Cann and I exchanged phone numbers and from that moment forward she and I had many many phone conversations. She was after what was best for our sons future in TaeKwonDo Sparring from the first moment of meeting her. Such an honorable woman in every area of her life. Such a great example to our son. Those many phone conversations resulted in our being invited to come and train one Saturday with her kids and Coaches. She and I sat on the sidelines together watching as my son fit into the Carolina Kicks Family from the first moment. He and the team connected instantly. The love Timothy feels for his Carolina Kicks team family is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. What’s more is God orchestrated it all. He opened the doors for the opportunity for Timothy to be on this Sparring Team. Timothy was supposed to be coached by someone else at USAT GA last year but was coached by GMaster Cann. Timothy’s embraced being on this sparring team and grown by leaps and bounds as a competitor since being with them. Timothy was one of her last recruits and although we knew her such a short time in comparison to so many others Timothy and I felt such a deep love and respect for this great woman. Although she is gone she will never be forgotten!!!  Her legacy will live on in the lives of all those she touched. RIP GMaster Cann!  We will always remember and never forget!!!
