Pilot Mountain on the way home from Kentucky last Friday

Weigh In

Timothy weighed in at 63.2 tonight. He couldn’t weigh more than 64.0 lbs. for this tournament tomorrow. He just did make it into what they call the Fly weight group.

Timothy’s 10th Birthday

We are officially into the double digits. Timothy had a great day today. Here’s are a couple of pictures. He wanted to eat at Olive Garden and the second picture is what they did for him😁

Hard Cardio Training Last Night

T-Money has a hard cardio training last night. It was good for him. We have folding chairs at home and this is something he can easily do at home too to build his cardio and leg muscle strength.

Hummingbird

I finally saw a hummingbird at the feeder yesterday.

More Cleanup Today

A friend came over and helped us do more cleanup but now our live-in Fire watchers are gone...LOL!  That poses a problem we didn’t have while we burned for a solid week last time...LOL!  We’ll figure it out. Just found it funny when we were discussing burning it is all. And there’s still tons more to be done. So thankful for friends who are willing to step in and help with the cleanup to save us money.

Our Natural Area Off The Back Deck of Our House

We cleaned up our natural area this past week while Nan and Pop have been here visiting.  Pop supervised while Nan helped pick up twigs and leaves to put in the burn pit.  We did a ton of burning this past week.  It's been a great week for burning and getting a lot of the trees cleaned up from the tornado.  At least all the ones that we can do ourselves anyhow.  We'll have to eventually call a company to help clear the downed oak trees out.  They aren't urgent so we aren't concerned about them. Here's a before and after picture of what's been done.

The entire landscape of our property looks so different now.  It'll take some getting used to.  Just thankful that we have been able to do as much as we have done this past week.  It's been a lot of work and a lot of body aches but well worth it to have so much taken care of.  Popsie's know how was a ton of help to Scot and I.  Was glad to have the knowledgable help.
