Lighthouse Homeschool Group Lego Field Trip

Today we went on a Lego Field Trip to Graham, NC at the Alamance Arts Council to look at Lego art.  Timmy had an awesome time checking out everything and we bought a book with the artist art work in it plus some legos:-).  Here are some pictures of what we saw:

The Lego Store - Crabtree Valley Mall

We went to the mall today so Timmy could purchase some legos from The Lego Store.  He was so surprised and luv'd it.  He really had fun looking in the store and making his first big boy purchase with his own money.  Here are some pics of him with his purchase and what it all looked like once put together:

He had to have a lego pumpkin seeing as Halloween is coming up.

Faith Harvest Family Skate Night

Timmy had his first experience roller skating this evening with the church we attend, Faith Harvest, and had a blast.  He told us when we got in the car afterward that it was lots of fun but the falling down was boring and no fun to which Scot and I told him no one likes the falling down part.  By the end of the two hours of skating he was really getting the hang of it and doing well though.  Proud of my boy and his cousins for doing so well.

Black Belt World

This evening was Timmy's first session of Tae-Kwon-Do.  He luv'd it and can't wait to go back for another session.  Here are a couple of pictures that I took tonight:

The Homeschool Adventure Begins

Tomorrow the homeschool adventure officially begins even though we did two days of homeschooling last week.  Timmy is already loving it cause when he's done he gets to have lunch then play or go to the park and such the rest of the day.  Two evenings a week are gonna be filled up with Tae-Kwon-Do and two afternoons a week will be filled up with continuing his swim lessons.  By next summer he should be advancing really well with his swimming.  I'm looking forward to what this school year has in store for us.  We have already done a homeschool picnic with our homeschool group and Timmy will be doing a field trip in September to a Lego Museum.  He's gonna luv that.  There are gonna be many other field trips on the horizon too.  Life is good!  God is good!  So blessed to be able to be at home with my little man. Lighthouse Homeschool Group Picnic

This evening we had the family homeschool group picnic at Blue Jay County Park.  Timmy had a blast.  Here are some pictures of the fun Timmy had.

Black Belt World

We signed Timmy up for classes at Black Belt World this evening.  Here are the Student Commitments:

1. I will be loyal to my country.
2. I will honor my parents.
3. I will love my family and cooperate with them.
4. I will be faithful to my friends.
5. I will respect my elders and care for my juniors.
6. I will establish positive relationships with my teachers.
7. I will treat all living things with care.
8. I will never seek advantage of those who are weaker.
9. I will only use Tae-Kwon-Do to benefit myself and others.
10. I will always finish what I start.

 When we got home we went over these commitments with him and we put his uniform on and took some pictures to share with you all.  Enjoy!

Kentucky Trip

Timmy had so much fun surprising his Popsie for his birthday.  He luvs every moment he gets to spend with his grandparents, aunt and uncle's.  Here are some pics:
