This is something Kay shared on social media many years ago.
“Know” in this verse means to "acknowledge". As we saw this morning we are to acknowledge that God is God and we are not. It would be a good practice to remind ourselves on a regular basis that He is the one who made us, which means we are accountable to Him. As His sheep we are in a position of privilege - one where God is responsible to feed, protect and guide. When we acknowledge this about God we will be set free and able to rest in that knowledge. ~Kay Arthur (May 22, 2012)
