This past Saturday Tim got to participate in an invite only event representing his gyms Weightlifting Team. It was a Team Meet and not an individual one so Tim didn't get a medal but if they had been giving out medals he'd have came home with Gold. He did Meet PR's in both the Snatch and Clean and Jerk events. He went 6 for 6 with his lifts meaning that he got all 3 of his Snatch lifts and he got all 3 of his Clean and Jerk lifts. He did so with thumbs ups from all 3 judges too. Such a great day and Tim walked away so incredibly happy knowing that he did that in front of actual judges this time and not just for an online event. Plus he did more than he did on his online event as well. His totals of the day were: 60kg Snatch + 75kg Clean & Jerk = 135kg. His total for the online event was like 130kg or 131kg so he's making more progress. He sure had the attention of others coaches and lifters as well. The announcer was very impressed with him. His dad and I couldn't be more proud of all that he's accomplishing in this sport.

Tim had such a terrific time at this event. He didn't care if they were giving out awards or not. He just wanted to lift and have a good time and that is just what he did! He is always impressing everyone everywhere that he goes with all that he is accomplishing in his young life. 2032 Olympics is the long term goal for Tim! He wants to be able to represent USA when he becomes a Senior Lifter. For now he just wants to grow in the sport, do the best he can and have a good time while doing it. He has a lot of growing to do and he knows it but he is very driven and is constantly impressing his coach and us with all that he is doing.
