Guest Bedroom Light

Our bedrooms were not built with overhead lighting so Scot put a light in that will work by a light switch for our guests coming into the guest bedroom until they can turn on a lamp. 

Bedroom Fixer Upper

T and I moved the furniture around a bunch before settling on where it landed. We needed to make sure a walker would fit in the space. A mirror was hung by Scot as well as the tv mounted to the wall. We were able to get an arm chair cheap for mom to have in the room as well. Scot’s gotta clean it up first. Check out the difference:

Walkway for Momma

Making a walk way for my mom to get into the house with her walker after hip surgery. Such a great job by my amazing husband!!!  Next we will be doing a handrail for the front porch. The old one deteriorated. But that will be at some point this week because it will be raining tomorrow. 

Update on T

Doctor said T is fine. That he is taxing his lungs after having been sick/allergies. Just like I said and thought. T just has to not push as hard when training for a while although they still want him to rest for like 5 days anyhow. Well, Monday will be day 5 and he’ll be back to training😊.

It’s Been A Day🙄

Our boy has went from having the “Vid” at Christmas break, that lasted  21 days, to catching a bad cold while at the USAT Eastern Academy Training Camp, that  lasted about 14 days, to having really bad allergies for the last two weeks now. The doctor said allergies are crazy bad right now. He’s been through the ringer. Although his lungs look good and are clear he’s crazy tender and hurting. Of course they assured us the inflammation he’s experiencing is normal with all he’s been through. They have him on pain meds for that. To be safe, though, they want him to see a cardiologist and don’t want him training until he’s cleared by them. The story of the challenges of my life right now🤦🏻‍♀️.   All this happened today while Scot was home with T and I was at pre-op appointments with my mom for her hip replacement surgery coming up🙄.  Craziness I tell ya🤪.

Such a beautiful day today that we spent some time outside this afternoon before we headed into town to get our regular adjustment at the chiropractor.
