1st Official Day Back Training
Today is T’s first official day back training. He’s so excited but I’m sure he’ll be worn out tonight too. Here’s a picture of him stretching after his workout with his coach this morning through zoom.

New Roof Material
This is a sample. The real shingle for the roof is twice as long. It’s a metal roof with a lifetime warranty. They come out on the anniversary of installation every year to examine it and make sure nothing needs addressing.

It is literally the last roof we will ever buy for this house. We are loving this company. They do windows, doors, and siding as well. Looking forward to a long lasting relationship with this company.

All Clear!!!
Earlier this evening T got the all clear to go back to full training. We have a very excited boy in our house right now. It’s going to kick his butt at first but I’m sure it won’t be long before he’s back to where he was before his injury. #lifewithaneliteathlete

Dragon Docking and Boarding the Internally Space Station
Here’s a couple of pictures of Dragon Docking earlier today. It was fun watching the docking process up until the crew boarded the international space station.

Here’s a couple a pictures I got from just after they boarded the international space station.

Dragon Launch 2020
We got to watch the launch today and we are looking forward to seeing the docking with the space station in the morning. At least we hope we get to see the docking. Here’s some pictures we took while watching on our tv.

Here’s a video I took from my cell phone of the launch on tv earlier today:

This was the first manned launch that T has seen live. I’m sure it will be the first of many for him.
Getting Back At It
T is getting back at it. He’s been anxious to be able to train. Today, for the first time in about a month, he did some running, jump rope, stretching, pushups, crunches, and a little bit of control kicking to build strength and cardio back up from having been down from his hip, low back, leg injury. He’s feeling really good. He has some soreness but that’s to be expected when he had to take a break for his body to heal. He’s so excited to have been able to do anything. He’s glad to be on the other side of his injury now. It’s been a little bit of a journey to get here and this week coming up is dedicated to cardio and strength exercises so that the following week he can be ready to really get back to work while continuing to build upon his cardio and strength training.
Launch America
We are so excited about #LaunchAmerica. We are really hoping that the weather holds out and they don’t get scrubbed from launching a second time.
Here’s some information on the launch that is to take place:

Nearing Returning To Training
T is nearing being able to return to training. Loving that he’s feeling more back to normal. In our world you know he’s feeling spry when he starts trying to use us as TaeKwonDo kicking pads...LOL! Glad his hip, low back, and leg has gotten so much better. Being able to do laser therapy twice a day at home has made all the difference in the world. It has been the tipping point to getting him feeling like normal. We have a final appointment on Tuesday for them to check him and we are praying he can get back to training again. Of course after so much down time he’ll have to build his cardio/strength back up. He’s been stretching though and his flexibility is looking really good so that’s a plus.
