USAT Georgia 2019
So we have stayed to watch the remainder of the fights. It’s been educational and we are learning a lot while we watch. Plus we got to watch some fights of fighters we are following. It’s been an all around fun day here in Georgia.

USAT Georgia 2019 - Took Gold
T won Gold here at USAT Georgia today. He will have to fight this kid again at NC next week. Praying he wins Gold again. Wanting to see him go out with a bang in the youth division this year. He’ll be a first year Cadet next year and it will be a ton of learning next year I’m sure. So thankful for all the opportunities he has to fight I. This sport he loves so much. Praying he continues to improve and advance as he moves through the divisions over the years. Here are the first of several posts to come of T’s pictures from his fight today.

Tucker at The Fetching Post
This weekend is Tucker’s first time back to The Fetching Post since Dexter’s passing. He’s been missing his buddy but also he’s been partly bored. The Fetching Post has been great to send us photos and a video to let us know he’s doing good without his buddy and adjusting well and playing well with the other dogs. It has so warmed my heart to know that he’s found himself some friends to play with. It’s also warmed my heart that they have went to this extreme to make us feel good about his being there without Dexter. I’m sure the boarder collie in the video reminds him of his buddy but just bigger...LOL!

USAT Georgia Weigh In
T weighed in at 63.93 pounds here in GA today😁. Eating healthy and staying in his weight bracket. No need to cut when you aren’t eating crap in your diet. Now we go get some dinner.
Yes T Landed That Shot
Sparring at BBW on Wednesday was a huge confidence booster for T. Here’s a shot I got of T (he’s in the red) and yes he landed that shot to the back of the head.

Training Tonight
T is getting one last training session in before he goes to USAT Georgia Tournament on Sunday. He’s excited to be going to tournament and fighting someone new. At least by being at Carolina Kicks we are already part way to the venue. It has been such a great weather day here in NC. We had some rain earlier. No surprise there. As soon as things even begin to dry up here comes the rain again...LOL! But the day ended dry and temperature was great. Looking forward to good sleep tonight and good travel day tomorrow to the venue for weigh in.

Tonight at BBW Zebulon
Master Amy told us about a special sparring class they were doing tonight at BBW Zebulon so we decided to attend so it could be a confidence booster to show T how far he’s come from where he was. Mr Keith one of the parents was watching tonight and he said, “I don’t know what you’ve spent on his sparring training but it’s been worth every penny”. Here’s a video to show you why he said what he said.
