Timothy had a great time at Master Young In Bang’s Seminar today. He learned a lot that he can now do at home with his training. Here are some pictures we got:

All Day Sparring Training Seminar

T’s getting all rested up for the seminar tomorrow. It will run from 9am-6pm. Gonna be a long day but T will learn a lot. 

Earlier Tonight at Master Salim’s Dojang.

T-Money had a good workout at Master Salim’s Dojang earlier this evening. He has gone to bed now in preparation for tomorrow’s training seminar.

Timothy had a chance to see this young lady fight and was very impressed. Timothy also was coached by Grand Master Cann at the USAT Georgia State Championships, where he won Gold, and really enjoyed meeting her and being coached by her. I love watching the handprints of all who are having a hand in helping Timothy on his TKD journey. So grateful to all who have had a hand in helping Timothy whether by coaching him/training him. You are all making such a huge difference in his life. No effort on his part is going unnoticed. Thank you doesn't even begin to express the gratitude in our hearts for all that's been done for him over the years. You Really Do Make A Huge Difference No Matter How Minor The Effort!!! The only encouragement I want to give this young lady and those her age doing what she's doing is to make sure that you not only be an example for the younger ones to follow but that you be a positive example/role model for them to follow!!! There's been too much negative lately. Stay focused and be positive and the younger ones coming up behind you will follow your lead.

Nationals Are Only 4 Weeks Away

The count down is on big time.  At this point we have no clue how many competitors will be at AAU Nationals when Timothy goes but as of right now there are 23 competitors in Timothy's age and weight group for USAT Nationals and the numbers keep climbing.  The competition is going to be tuff.  We are doing everything we can to get him ready for it.  He has a training seminar this weekend and he has a sparring training camp with a Grand Master from the 18th-22nd.  Helping him reach his goals is what we are about.  This will be his first time doing tournaments on a National level and everyone says your first time out is rough.  Whether he comes home with medals or not for us it's about the experience and learning what it's going to be like to fight on the National level.  Doing this now is key because we don't want him having his first experience with Nationals to be when it really counts when he's old enough to do team trials for the USAT National Team.  He's doing his best and that's all we can ask of him.

Guitar Lessons

T is savoring every moment that he has left with his guitar teacher as she will be retiring after this summer. 

Mower

I do believe we’ve found the right mower for us. It’s a Scag. Scot got a good look at one today and had a good talk with the salesman and research shows that for the type of property we have this is the way to go. Scag is also rated #1 in the industry. Now for God to rain in the $ for it. We know he can do it because He’s Jehovah Jireh our provider. So be praying and believing with us for this need. God hasn’t failed us yet and has always provided for our every need and this is a need. It’s not top of the line by any means because the top of the line one is a monster but this one is a beast and will handle the work on our acreage.
