TaDa

Last night Timmy took this section out of his mat, put it around his neck, and came into the living room saying, "TaDa" to Scot and I. We couldn't help but laugh. Timmy saying, "TaDa" is something his Aunt Elaine taught him when she was here visiting and now when he does things he likes to go around saying that...lol.

Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey Circus - Zing Zang Zoom

Timmy and his cousin Tristan had so much fun at the Circus. Timmy loves Elephants so that was absolutely his favorite part of the show. It was definitely a big hit with the boys and it will probably be a yearly family thing that we will do. I had so much fun watching my men see the circus live for the first time. I was so shocked when Scot told me that he had never been to the Circus before. At least now he has had that experience and he got to share that first together with his son. The only disappointment was that they canceled being able to see the animals up close before the show began because of the weather. Next year we will definitely be doing our best to get to see the animals up close because Timmy would have really loved that. It was a great experience and I'm glad that we went. Enjoy the pics.

"I'm not sure about this guy???"

"Wow, I sure love the animals."

"Oh boy, it's Elephants."

"Look, Elephants!!!"

"I'm having lots of fun with my Cousin Timmy."
It's Tigers, and Lions, and Bears.....No, it's just Tigers.

"It's my DaDa and my first time at the Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey Circus."
These guys were so cool. Timmy didn't take his eyes off them for a moment.

Toddler Bed

Timmy took a nap in his toddler bed yesterday. We are so proud of him for doing that. It's one step closer to getting him to sleep in his toddler bed. We are taking it slow though and letting him do it at his own pace. There is no rush for him to be in the toddler bed anyways. It won't be long before he is wanting to sleep in it anyhow. At some point I'll get a picture of his toddler bed so that you can see it. For now he has two rooms, his baby room with the crib and the room with his toddler bed. He's such a blessed little boy.

Climbing onto the toy box

Uncle Jeff Timmy learned to do this today. It took him a little longer than we thought but he did it. We are still waiting for him to actually climb into the toy box. We will take pics of that when it happens as well.

Fun on top of the toy box

Timmy had lots of fun once he got on top of the toy box. He did do one thing that made us realize that we are going to have to move the toy box and put it against the wall with no windows. When you look at the pics below you will know what I'm talking about.

"Wow! I can see a lot more from up here."

"Let's give this a try."

"Oh boy, I'm really doing something now."

"This is like a stage. Let me 'Vogue' for you."

"Can you see my belly button?"

"This is so much fun."

"Hey Mommy! I hope you got some good pictures?!"

Getting Off The Toy Box

Getting off the toy box was just as easy as getting on.

Daddy's Solution

Scot went to work right away on a solution to the problem of Timmy getting past the gate and climbing the stairs. Here are the pictures of Timmy checking it all out.

"So now let's figure out how I'm going to get around this?!"

"Well this isn't gonna work. Let me think on this for a while."

Let me show you what else I can do

Recently Scot and I were in this room talking for a moment and the next thing we know we are hearing, "bump, bump, bump, bump." We turned to see that our son had gotten around that baby gate and up the stairs. He took the express route down. Thank God that in his fall he didn't get hurt. No bumps, bruises, or nothing. We were at a loss to how he did this until he tried to do a repeat performance. We got it on camera for you all to see.

"Move!"

"Yes I'm looking back to see if Mommy and Daddy are watching."

"I know I'm a smart boy....hahaha."

"Yeah, check me out. I'm on the other side."

"OK, now to climb the stairs. Mommy and Daddy say, 'Not!'"

"Hey, Does this thing have rollover minutes?"

Timmy decided to walk around the house this evening playing with his Handy Manny phone. All he kept saying was hello while holding it to his ear. It was so cute that I had to get a couple of pics of it.

"Hello!" (That is actually what he was saying...lol)

"Can you believe this, another telemarketer right when I'm getting ready to eat. I think I'll hang up."

Our New HVAC Unit

After a couple of days of no heat it is nice to have heat again. I wish I had a picture of the old unit so that you'd have something to compare the new one to but trust me the old one was much much smaller. Actually the new one is four times as big as the old one. It was an 8 seer and the new one is a 15 seer. And man is there a difference!!! We had the thermostat set on 70 today and had to bump it down because the house was getting so warm...lol. In the picture below you will see what a monster the new machine is. We are having fun getting used to our new system.

A huge Praise Report is that because of the payment arrangement that was made we received extra parts and upgrades needed for the unit for free. We are certainly glad that God is our provider. Praise God for the provision!!!

If you ever need HVAC work done and you live in the area call AAA Discount Heating and Cooling at 919-366-0349 and ask for Doug. He will treat you good and do a fantastic job.

"I always thought the 'Green Monster' was in Boston but I was wrong it's in my side yard."

"A kid with a new toy" box

Today Uncle Jeff and Aunt Elaine showed up with a new toy box that Uncle Jeff made for Timmy. It's a late Christmas present from his Uncle and his family. It is really nice and Timmy loves it. Here are some pictures of it.

Timmy and Uncle Jeff coming into the playroom for Timmy to see his toy box for the first time.

Timmy had just woke up from his nap when we showed him his new toy box.

"Oh boy this thing is HUGE."

"This lid is so cool and fun to play with."

"Now let's see if I can move this thing to where I want it to go. Nope, that thing aint movin'."

"I'm going to like this. Thanks Uncle Jeff for making this for me."

"Oh boy my train can even fit into it. How cool is that!"
"Yes, I'm checking it out one more time."
