Thanksgiving/Christmas at The Neals last weekend

Last weekend we went up to Kentucky to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with the Neal's. It was a great trip. Timmy had so much fun with his Pop and Nan, his Aunt and Uncles, and Cousins. I took quite a bit of pictures so I'll let them do the talking. Enjoy!

"Oh boy, It's Thomas!"

"Hurry and put it together Daddy and Uncle Jeff. Maybe I should help too?"

"I love you Aunt Elaine."

"Oh boy, Elmo Slippers. Hurry and put them on Daddy."

"Oh boy, Tools!!!!!"

"Wow! This is a big stocking! One thing out and lots to go."

"Oh boy, a steering wheel that shoots out cars."

"My own play laptop computer. Yippee!"

"A card from Grandmother Stergeon (That's my great grandma)"

"Oh boy, she put monies in it! Woohoo!"

"Alright, some cars!"

"Oh boy, a carrying case for my new cars!"
"Yeah, an Elmo Pupit book."

"Hey Grandmother Stergeon let me powder your face." (Timmy got a hold of a make up brush and was going around and brushing everyones face...lol.)
"My Cousin Corey got me this shirt. I don't know how many times mom will actually let me wear it...lol."
"I got a golf lesson from my Uncle Kevin. I call him Big K. He's cool!"

Family Fest Sunday Night (10-31)

Timmy had so much fun at the Family Fest with his cousins. Iris was Tinker Bell although you can't really see her outfit very well. You can see her wings if you look closely. Timmy and Tristan had a blast and there's no mistaken what they dressed up as. Wish I could have gotten more pics but I left my camera at home and we were using our cell phones so couldn't get great pictures.

I love when Timmy gives big smiles like this one.

Scot got Tristan as he was leaning down to kiss his sister. Timmy was looking at the food. And yes that's my hand in the pic holding my cell trying to get a pic of them.

Iris was just taken with Timmy. She kept watching all throughout the evening. Tristan had fun playing on all the blow up stuff. Timmy had no interest in them this year even though he was loving them last year. Go figure.

Timmy Talking on Daddy's Bluetooth

We called Nan today to ask her a quick question and Timmy wanted to talk to her. He was so cute wearing his Daddy's bluetooth that I had to get a picture of him. I think he's ready for his own. What do you think?!

"I'm talking to my Nan!"

RDU on Wednesday

We went to pick up a good friend from the airport on Wednesday and have lunch with him. When picking him up Timmy decided he wanted to help with his luggage. The pictures are a little blurred but you can see Timmy pulling his laptop bag. It was too cute not to get a picture of. All the airport workers thought it was so adorable. Timmy got everyone's attention as he walked along with his bag.

"Yeah, I got me a bag and I know I'm cool."

I'm pointing showing Timmy where we are going. He is such a big boy.

It's Official....

We will be getting Timmy this:

for Christmas. It's a John Deere Gator Powerwheels. Our neighbor's little boy has one and he and Timmy have so much fun riding on it. Last night Timmy drove it for the first time and did great at it. Scot and I had been going back and forth about getting him one and if he's actually ready for it. Well, last night answered that question with a definite Yes! So shhhhhhhhhh it's a secret, from Timmy of course:-). He is sooooooo gonna luv getting this Christmas morning. Click on this word: Walmart, and you can click where it says 360 and get a 360 view of this cool ride.

Hard At Work

Scot and I were busy getting some much needed yard work done yesterday while Timmy ran around and played (We'll be doing more of the same today). Timmy decided that he wanted to help so Scot let him give it a whirl. He did real good too. Here are some pictures that Scot was able to get of Timmy trimming one of our trees. Timmy also helped push the wheel barrel but we weren't able to get a picture of that. He is such a good little helper.

"This thing is cool."

Timmy is serious about his work.

After the hair cut picture

I took this picture of Timmy after we got back home today from getting his hair cut. He smiled so big for his mommy. What a handsome boy!

"Aren't I the handsomest boy in the world?"

Timmy's Haircut

For the first time since Timmy has been getting his hair cut I took him to a salon that caters to kids. I decided to try this because ever since he has been getting his hair cut he has been giving us fits about it. Everytime, just about, I was having to hold him in my lap and hold his arms while Scot held his head so that we could get it cut. Today, however, he got to sit in a cool chair while watching Bob the Builder and eating a sucker as you'll see in the pictures below. They also had a cool playground in the waiting area. It was all around a much better experience and a lot less stressful than it has been in the past. Should have done this a lot sooner.

"What a cool playground."

"I love the slide."

"Oh boy, my own car."

"What a cool blue sucker."

"I just love kitchen play toys."

"What's this? Hmmmm, let's see where I can put it."
"In here looks like a good place to put it."

It's coming up turtles

Scot found a turtle out at the garage late yesterday afternoon and brought it up to the house for Timmy to see. It had a cracked shell but was fine. It looked like the blade of our lawn guys lawnmower might have hit his shell. The whole world turned turtles when Timmy saw it. He was so excited to see it, touch it, and hold it. Enjoy the pics.

"Look! It's a turtle."

"I can pick him up with one hand like Mommy and Daddy."

"Let's go for a walk turtle."

(Just an FYI. We released the turtle back into the woods last night.)

Rainbow

On 9-30-10 we were coming to the end of several days of rain and that evening there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky. Some people even saw a double rainbow. I only saw the one though.

Saturday at Dee's house

We went to Dee's house for Anthony's birthday and this is what Timmy played on while we were there. He would get off but it wasn't long before he was right back on it. He loves this particular swing on Anthony's swing set. I've even went so far as to look for it because every time we are over there Timmy wants to play on it.

Daddy in back and Mommy in front watching Timmy to catch him should he slide off the swing.

This was taken after we left the party. Cup and cloth in hand and all is right with the world...lol.

Nan, Pop, and Elaine's Visit Last Week

Nan, Pop, and Elaine came in for a visit last week. Timmy thoroughly enjoyed it. He especially loved playing with them. Timmy loves every moment that he gets to spend with his grandparents. Enjoy the pics.

The mega blocks are so much fun and Timmy and Pop had lots of fun playing with them.

Nan and Elaine got in on the fun by playing in Timmy's Firetruck Tent with him.

"Oh boy, ice cream with my Pop. Now this is the life." Dexter was watching and waiting for a bite to fall for him...lol.

Timmy played hard and slept hard!
Timmy dressed Pop up in his cowboy hat and his play horse. Had to get a pic of that...lol!

Ice Cream Cones

Timmy's first ice cream cone. Not his first taste of ice cream mind you. Just his first cone. He had it with his friends Charlie and Andie Jo. They had a blast!

"Mmmm Mmmm goooooooood!"

A work in progress

Timmy is now in his big boy room and toddler bed. We moved his night lights from the nursery, the chair I sit and read to him in, and his rug into the big boy room. We were given the dresser. The walls are bare but it won't be long before we have some items hung on them. We have put some glow in the dark stars on the ceiling for him compliments of his Nan and Popsie. We had to order some more though so that we could cover the entire ceiling in them. He seems to be a happy boy in his new room. PTL! I've been trying to get him in his new room for a while now but he wouldn't go. The Holy Spirit told me to make the move to the new room after our beach trip. Thank you Holy Spirit! I just love how God gets involved and helps us in what we think are the small things of life! All too often people think God doesn't want to be bothered with the small things but he loves getting involved in every aspect of our lives. It has been a smooth transition to the new room all because I was open to hear from God through His Holy Spirit as to how to get Timmy to sleep there. Woohoo!!!

Sandbox

We found this sandbox on Craigslist a week or so ago but today was the first time that Timmy got to play in it. It retails for $80 in the stores but we got it for $40. What a great deal for a toddler item for him to play in on the deck. It's taking the place of the toddler pool we had. The toddler pool finally sprung a leak so it had to go bye bye. He seems to be happy with the sandbox as a replacement. PTL! WooHoo!

Last Day at the Beach

These were taken Labor Day. It was our last day at the beach before heading home. Timmy finally got his feet wet in the ocean but was still very uncertain about it. Daddy hung close by. Tristan on the other hand loves the beach water. He had a blast in it. Iris got her feet wet for the first time at the beach too while Maw Maw held her and loved it.
