Fence posts

Timmy loves learning from his Daddy. He put on his work gloves so that he could help Daddy with the fence post holes. The fence is going up to hold Timmy and Dexter in near the house so they don't get out near the street. Especially when the street we live on is a 55 mile and hour roadway.

Organizing

A room buried in clothes. I spent the day yesterday going through all Timmy's old clothes and organizing what is now storage but used to be the nursery. The picture below is the before pic: The pic below is the after pic: Woohoo! We are organized!!! It feels so good to have it all done.

Gone Too Soon

The picture above is a picture of one of my childhood friends brother, Patrick. He is gone now. He was crushed between two slabs of marble on his job a little while ago. A life that's been snuffed away. A guy in his twenties, at just the beginning of his life, is gone. In just a moment, at just a glance, or a split second things happen. Please be sure that those you love know that you love them. Take time out of your busy lives and schedules to have quality time with those you love and care about. And make sure you are living a life that is making a difference in the lives of those around you. Live your life on purpose and don't just let life happen to you. Having purpose in your life is having a life that counts. Make it count for God! Patricks life counted! He was a son, brother, and father. He lived well and he loved well! Please keep the Pendry family in your prayers as they deal with this loss. Thank you!

Boys and Toilets

Earlier tonight Timmy flushed these items down the toilet:

I was able to retrieve the ball and one of the cups but not before two of the other cups got flushed down and lodged in the toilet. What to do? What to do? The thought of taking out the toilet wasn't an appealing one for either Scot or me. We weren't looking forward to having to do that but then Scot had an Divine Inspiration, "Go get the big truck. It really SUCKS!". As most of you know we own a carpet cleaning business and have a truck mount unit and it has quite the vacuum on it. While I was upstairs putting Timmy to bed Scot decided he'd give the vac a whirl. I'm upstairs and I hear a noise that sounds like the toilet came out of the floor but found out that it was cup number one that had come up with a thud. So he did the process again and got cup number two. Doing that was so much easier than the other alternative. PTL for a husband who thinks outside the box or the toilet in this case.

Talking with Nan and Pop

Timmy had fun walking around the house this evening while talking on the phone with Nan and Pop. We had the speaker phone on so we all could hear the conversation. I just had to take pictures when he sat in his Mickey Chair talking to them. It was toooooo cute!

"I'm having fun talking with my Nan and Popsie."

Tristan's Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese

Tristan had soooo much fun at Chuck E Cheese. "Which camera do I look at? Too many people wanting to take my picture."

When we first got to the party Timmy said, "Look at all the cool stuff." He was referring to all the games and stuff.

My brother Calvin and his wife April.

Iris ate better than all the kids there.

Timmy chillin' on the deck

Timmy was chillin' while Daddy was grillin' yesterday evening. See if you can find what is wrong with this picture and comment. Scot and I didn't notice until we came back inside after we were done grillin'...lol.

"Yeah, I know I'm the man!"

New Dinning Room Table

One of our repeat clients gave us this table. Our old table was a glass round that seated four. This one will seat six. I am so glad to get rid of the glass table because Timmy kept trying to hang on it and he was running into it. What a nice table and such a huge blessing!!! We've been looking for quite some time for a wood table but everything we saw we didn't seem to like. As soon as I saw this one I loved it. It's an original design made especially for the original owner. I was patient and waited (and those of you who know me well know that I'm not usually a very patient person) and God blessed us with such a nice table. Thank you Lord!!!

Trees are coming down!!!

Tree cutting began yesterday on our property. We are getting rid of our gum ball trees and our walnut trees. Our lawn guy will be happy about that and so will Timmy because now he won't be tripping and falling on those gum balls and walnuts. All Seasons Tree Services is who is cutting them down for us. It is owned and operated by a great Christian whom I have had the privelege of knowing since I was a preteen. He and His wife were missionaries in the Congo in Africa for many many years. So if you need trees cut down give this guy a call. His number is: 919-796-2165 and his website is: http://www.allseasonstreeservices.com/.

This machine really turned the small stuff into some good mulched wood. Scot and I were very impressed with this machine.

Toy Story 3

Timmy has recently gotten into the Toy Story movies. His current favorite is Toy Story 3 because of the train scene at the beginning. Those of you who have seen the movie will get this picture of Timmy with his train and Buzz.

"Buzz Lightyear to the recue!"

Handy Manny Fix-It-Right Race Car

Got this for Timmy tonight when we went shopping. He loves putting these things together with his Daddy. He now has the boat and the race car. Maybe he'll get the plane next??? We'll see?!

"My race car! Woohoo!"

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!

Five years ago was mine and Scot's first Valentines Day together. Back then I was a huge coffee drinker and loved Starbucks. So for Valentines Day Scot got me this:

He got me two dozen pink roses and put them in a pink Starbucks thermos. I don't drink coffee now but I still use the thermos for hot chocolate/apple cider. We were two months into our relationship then. And by November we were married. Now we have a 2 1/2 year old son who is a bundle of energy but a very sweet boy whom we love very much. God's timing is perfect! It seemed like forever that I had waited for the right guy to come into my life. It's been 5 years that we've been together and four years of marriage and it all seems like a whirlwind it's went by so fast. It's been fantastic though! I couldn't have asked for a better father and husband. Scot is such an Awesome man of God and I'm thankful for every day that we have together! Married or not show those special people in your life how much you love them. Make a special memory with them today that you can hold close to your heart always!

Toddler Bed

This past weekend Tristan stayed with us. Here's a picture of Timmy helping Daddy put together our spare toddler bed for Tristan to sleep in. I was pleasantly surprised that they did so well sleeping in the same room together. They didn't gives us any real issues. We could hear them on the monitor for a bit chattering but they went to sleep rather quickly. Timmy is such a good helper though. He loves to help his Daddy on projects around the house. Daddy is such a good sport to let him help because I'm sure he could get things done a lot faster without Timmy's help but he enjoys teaching him those things. PTL for an AWESOME father and husband!!!

"I love helping my Daddy!"

Leepfrog Leepster

A good friend of ours was selling their leepfrog leepster with a few games for a good price so we got it for Timmy. He is really a little young for it yet but he is learning how to use it. We only let him play with it when we can supervise him. We want to make sure he doesn't do anything that will break it...lol. Here's some pics of him playing with it.
