Training Video From 9/25/2021
I forgot to post this training video and just realized it. T is still easing back into training. He still has a ways to go right now to get his body back to where it needs to be for competition but he’s getting there.

Space, The Final Frontier….
Space, The Final Frontier….no wait wrong quote…LOL! We’ve gained so much space back in our big building. 14 loads to the dump with the truck later and we’ve got it looking this good. There’s still more to be done but man have we put a dent in the work. Woohoo🙌!!!
This shot is from the back of the building to the front.
This is a side view from entering in the side door.
This is most everything back in its place after our shelving project earlier today.

Our project today…
Our project today was to fix this broken shelving unit. Shelves had crumbled to the ground. We took everything off and went through it and tossed what wasn’t necessary to keep and what we’d never use in the future because it hadn’t been used in the 25 years it has sat here.
Fixing Shelves
We are helping Scot fix shelves today. I’ve been vacuuming all the mice poop 💩 and cobwebs. T’s been helping jack the shelves up and cut wood when his dad lets him. T is still having to be careful because the chiropractor told him to be careful for four days after his last chiropractor appointment. We still have to go through all the parts boxes and get rid of what’s not usable. That’s going to be fun. I have a feeling a lot of it will be going away.

Tasting Coffee for the 1st Time
So one of Scot’s friends was telling him what his nutritionist/trainer was telling him. He said drinking a couple of cups of coffee and eating a small piece of dark chocolate - 70-90% dark - everyday is healthy so today Scot had his first cup of coffee that I made and he actually liked it. T wanted to try it and liked it too but he was just trying it. We aren’t letting him start drinking coffee because we feel he’s still to young to be doing that.

Cary High Band is “On A Roll”
We got to go see Tristan at another band competition tonight. It was yuk weather though so we didn’t stay for the awards but we did get to see the band perform. I’m so incredibly proud of my nephew for all he’s accomplishing. Such a smart kid and being in the marching band too. I really hope he sticks with it. He’s really good.

Growing….
T is in what seems like a continual growth spurt lately. He’s not in outfits long before we have to buy more…LOL! He loves his new Adidas outfit. We got him a blue set too.

Cary High Marching Band
This is where we were earlier tonight. Just got to watch my nephew, Tristan, perform with the Cary High Band. I just got a couple shots of him from on the band page too. He looks so sharp in his uniform. Tristan did an awesome job tonight at the band competition. They received three trophies and a best spirit award. Really enjoyed being able to be there and see him. It’s not often we get to do this. So stinkin’ proud of this kid!!!
It was a late night though and I’m ready to get some sleep. Enjoy the pics.

This is by far my favorite pic of the night.

This is Tristan’s band director. He’s good.

L👀k What Scot Showed Me
Scot showed me this last night. This is the original plans for our property. Those that know us well and have been to our house know our property looks nothing close to this but at some point I would love to implement most of what’s in this design with minor changes to suit our needs.

Happy National Sons Day!
Happy National Sons Day to our son Timothy. You are such a precious gift from the Father above to us. We are so thankful for how God has watched over you and kept you with us during some times when we could’ve lost you. God has a purpose and plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11) and we can’t wait to see it continue to unfold in your life. Your Dad and I look forward to seeing the godly man that you become. I cherish every moment that I have with you. Your dad and I are so very proud of all that you’ve accomplished in your young life thus far. May God’s blessings overflow in your life as you continue to walk this life out with Him! May you accomplish all you set out to do. May you always know how loved you are and continue to put God first! I love you to the moon and beyond!

Working on the Van
T and his dad worked in the vans back brakes today changing the brake pads. T learned a lot and got to do a lot too. They make a good team. Love watching my guys do projects together. Here’s some pics.
Loosening the nuts.
Lifting the vehicle. To take the wheel off.
Finishing taking the lug nuts off.
Taking the caliper off. Then taking the brake pads off.
Comparing new brake pads to the old ones before putting the new on.

Training Yesterday
T’s getting back to training now. It was his second week back. Coach is bringing him back slowly. He’s being extra cautious because of all T has went through. We are fine with that because what T went through was so a huge ordeal. I’m just glad he’s back to training and he’s really enjoying being back too. Enjoy the video.

T’s 1st Driving Lesson w/His Dad!
T had his first driving lesson with his dad on our property today. He had a blast driving the truck and learning. He was smiling from ear to ear when he was done. Such a happy kid having this 1st with his dad. God has blessed our lives so much. We have so much to be thankful for. The fact that T is still with us is the best blessing ever. This kiddo has had two tough moments that could’ve taken his life but God!!! We are so incredibly thankful for Gods hand on our lives and how He has watched over us and protected us in this life. We are grateful for His presence in our lives on a daily basis. I’m thankful for every memory we get to make together. This is a big growing up moment being able to have his 1st driving lesson with Dad. I so love 🥰 my guys. Enjoy the video.
T’s 1st Training Since His Hospitalization
T’s 1st training went well. His coach is easing him back into everything. The tall guy in shorts in the 1st row is T’s teammate and buddy Chris. T is in the second row wearing long white pants doing drills with another teammate that’s in green/yellowish shorts.

1st Training Since T’s Injury
This weekend will be T’s first time training since his injury. He trains with the team Friday evening and Saturday morning. It’s been a little over a month since everything happened but it still seems like yesterday to me. It was such a scary sequence of events. So glad it’s a month behind us now. Praising God for all He’s brought us through these past months from my injury in April to T’s seizure from dangerously low sodium levels and everything else that happened in between. It’s been a whirlwind of events. We didn’t get to really enjoy summer because of all that’s went on. Our focus has been elsewhere. So thankful that God brought us through everything! Praising Him🙌🙌🙌!!!
