Rooms, Rooms, Rooms

In the wake of Hurricane Flo one of our commercial clients called us to come turn rooms for them that folks with pets had stayed in to get them ready for more clients. Flo sure is keeping us busy. Timothy and I are staging while Scot cleans the rooms. It’s a team effort to get the job done as quickly as possible so we can move on to the next project.

Hurricane Flo (Florence) Update

In way of an update. We lost one pine in our side yard last night but so far that’s it. Of course the worst hasn’t happened as of yet.

So it doesn’t look like we’ll have much of an impact at all except for a little rain like we’d get on any other rainy day. We are prepared should they miss it but I don’t think we will see much of anything from this.

My Mom’s Mom Clara Malone

T-Money’s great grandmother. I’m posting this on here so that years from now when he’s looking back on the blogs he will see this post. She passed away from Alzheimer’s.  Towards the end she called me by my mom’s name. She could sit for hours going through the black and white photos tellin us who they were. She just couldn’t remember more recent years or knew who most of us were. She was such a precious woman who loved us grandkids and we all loved her all the way up to the end even though she didn’t know who we were. Now I have a 2nd  cousin who reminds me so much of her.

T’s Training Time at Home Today

T is training daily now as his coach has asked him to do. He needed more room for training so we moved things around and now his equipment is in the living room. We are putting a plan together though to turn the upstairs of our shop into his own Dojang. The big expense will more than likely be the mats when we get to the point of needing them. If we can’t afford new then we are hoping to get them used. It’ll be nice to have all the workout equipment in an actual workout room and not taking up space in our house.
