All Is Well!

In way of an update I just wanted to do a post to let everyone know who follows our blog that we are all well and good.

T has been doing online training with his coaches. Doing school 🏫. We just found out that they aren’t going to require homeschoolers to do end of year testing but we will probably still make T do it because I use it as a measuring stick to know right where we are so I know whether he needs to spend more time learning something before we move forward to new stuff. When he has free time he’s been doing Lego builds, which you have seen our posts about our Lego builds. He’s also been gaming with his friends when he’s not training or doing school. This has been a good rest for us so that we can help T focus more on schoolwork and really learning things he’s struggling with. T can’t wait though to be training with his coach and team in person again. That’s his end goal and focus in all this.

Scot has been still working. Our business is an essential business and so we’ve kept busy. It’s been somewhat slower than we usually are at this time of year but we know that this too shall pass and when our country opens up again the flood gates will open with our business. God has been providing and watching over us and we are incredibly thankful.

I’ve been organizing the house like never before. Going through things and getting rid of things. The house is going to be in such better shape than it’s been for the past couple of years with all of our traveling for T to train with his coach. It’s been such a crazy busy time in our lives that this pause has been welcomed in that it’s given us more time as a family than we’ve had in a long while. You’d think we’d be getting tired of one another but we love and cherish every ounce of time we get to spend together. We’ve learned that time is precious and we should be sure to enjoy the times with have together. Life is crazy busy but God gives us the loved ones in our lives as a gift and they should be cherished and loved.

We have enjoyed watching church every week together as a family. We haven’t had much time for that as of late because of all of our traveling but having more time to be able to watch church service together instead of separately has been nice. More time to study the Word of God has been so nice too. I’ve been able to read and study more and have so loved being able to do that instead of running to and fro so much.

Since being on the stay at home order from the Coronavirus we’ve been able to tackle some tasks at home too that have needed attention so that’s been very nice to be able to get some things off of our to do lists. Before this is all over we really will be near to having our house in order. An orderly clean home puts me in my happy place. With a dog, son, and husband that’s a hard thing to accomplish that’s for sure but we are getting close to that now and I love it. When we can get in a groove of keeping things the way they should be it makes life so much easier for when things open back up for us to be able to go and do.

We are so thankful for all that God is doing in the midst of all this pandemic. We will be so glad when it’s over but regardless we look to God for His guidance in our lives and we continue on and press forward because of His presence in our lives. Life isn’t worth living without God in the center of it. He’s the reason for everything!!!  We love you Lord!!!

I pray this update finds you all well and good as well. We love you all and are thankful for our followers, family, and friends who are always so supportive of us.  God Bless You All!!!
