Verse of the Day...

God wants us to offer ourselves, as living sacrifices, daily laying aside our own desires to follow Him, putting ALL our energy & resources at His disposal & trusting Him to guide us.  We do this out of gratitude that our sins have been forgiven.

Bringing School to a Close 1 Subject at a Time...

Been a busy week for Tim with school, training & working with his dad. He has three subjects done for the year. He is keeping his A status rolling so far. He got an A (98) in Bible then I ran the report for his other two subjects on Monarch where he got A’s (96’s I think 🤔) as well. So proud of Tim. He just keeps getting after it in every area of his life. He still has Geometry & Biology to go though. Hoping we get those done soon.

Fresh Haircut...

Tim got a fresh haircut today for the Meet tomorrow.  Truco at The Dominican Barber Shop is amazing!!!  He does such a great job and give Tim a shave too.  Yeah, I know, it's hard to believe that he's shaving now but he's been shaving for over a year now...LOL!

Recovery Day...

Cryo & Compression therapy at Restore Hyper Wellness😊. The boy is getting his recovery time in today😁.

A Word of Encouragement....

Many times in life we have to burn the bridges of people/places we don't need in our lives.  When they are no good for us to keep going back to people/places is in fact insanity.  We need to make healthy choices for our lives.  Choices that will lead us to having God's best in our lives.  After all, all God wants for us is His absolute best!  He wants us living our best lives with Him at that helm of our lives.

I've never regretted for one moment making the choice for God in my life.  Burning bridges was so very needed in order for me to be able to live my best life with God and I'm still living it with an incredible husband and son.

Verse of the Day...

In the final scene of this psalm, we see that believers will dwell with God.  God, the perfect shepherd and host, promises to guide and protect us through life to bring us into His house forever.

School Stuff...

Yesterday was a day of doing nothing but dealing with school stuff for Tim. Trying to get ahead on the things that I have to do because next school year he’ll be graduating😱. Getting it all organized & in one place so that I can easily find it to reference it has been quite a task. So glad that’s done😁. It won't be a problem to keep up with it from now until he graduates as I add to it.

Outdoor Haven...

When we get to tear down our house and build the barndominium we want to build I would love to have an outdoor spot off the back of it like this:

Of course it needs to be by the pool in the back yard too...LOL!

Quote...

This is a fact!!!

You might ask, How do I know it's a fact?

My answer is that I have lived both sides.  I've lived many years without God and the rest of my life, so far, with God and I know with certainty that living with God and biblical principles guiding your life is the healthiest approach to family living.

I was raised in a home with a father who was an alcoholic and mean drunk and a mother who enabled him to be that way.  It was like living in hell on earth.  One day an elderly woman in our neighborhood asked if she could take us kids to church with her and that's where I learned about God's love and I saw for the first time in my life the unconditional love God had for me and everyone at church had for me.  They truly loved me warts and all.  They really cared about my future and wanted to help me learn that there is a different and better way of living.  Once I came to a saving knowledge of God I really got it.  I understood so much more deeply what they were showing me all those years.  It all clicked and made sense.

Today I'm married to a wonderful godly husband who loves God with all his heart and an amazing son that we've raised to love God as well.  Our son is growing into such an incredible young man.  Everyone that meets him can't believe how well spoken and respectful that he is.  We've raised him not to be a problem on society but to be a positive contributing part of society.  We are very proud of all he's done in his young life and all that God has in store for him in the future.

So biblical principles really do, in fact, offer the healthiest approach to family living.  There is no substitute that will give that result.

Verse of the Day...

"Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, BUT with God ALL things are possible.”  Matthew 19:26 (New International Version)

Quote of the Day...

This has been so very true in my life and my families lives.  God always has a plan even though we may not be able to see it at the moment.

Someone Has A Birthday Coming Up...

It's hard to believe Tim will be 17 this Mother's Day. It seems like yesterday that he was still a baby. Even though we have enjoyed every moment of his growing up it still seems it's gone by way too fast 💨. The maturity that he's shown over the past year in a half is like that of an already grown man. It's been a privilege to raise such an amazing kid. We didn't know all those years ago when he was baby that we'd be raising a kid that would be so focused on athletic goals as he has been but God did. God knew the focus we would need as parents of a child that would be an elite athlete. He knew the huge amount of guidance we would have to give him along the way & it was a huge learning curve for us. We made mistakes along the way. What parent doesn't? No parent is perfect but we have always done everything we do for him with his best interest in mind for the goals that he has set forth to accomplish, NOT US! Being a parent of an elite athlete is not an easy job. Athletes are driven toward goals. They are determined to meet all their expectations head on. They push hard all the time. They never give up! When they aren't physically training, they are mentally training. As a parent we've guided when guidance was needed and we've most importantly been supportive of him as he goes hard after his goals. Tim knows his athletic gifts are from God. God has guided him and us every step of the way as he's continued on his athletic journey. We are so thankful to God for the gift of Tim. God has amazing plans for him and we look forward to seeing them all play out in his life. Can't wait to celebrate his birthday on May 11th. He was born on Mother's Day so when his birthday lands on Mother's Day it makes that Mother's Day extra special because we get to have a double celebration😊😍.

The Gospel Shared...

I wanted to share a friends social media post here.

He does missions work in Africa.  He has an amazing heart for sharing the gospel message with the people there.

He's right, the gospel message is only good news if it gets there in time.  There is an urgency to the Gospel.  The days are short and the return of our Lord is getting closer everyday.  We need not delay telling that person who needs it!!!  You can start with inviting those who need to hear the gospel message to go to church with you.  That's something easy that anyone can do.  If you aren't sure how to share the gospel with someone or are uncomfortable with doing so then go to a trusted Christ follower to help you with learning how to share so that you are more comfortable with doing it.   I learned through EE (Evangelism Explosion).  You can check them out on the web at: https://evangelismexplosion.org/.

If you want to know how to know Jesus as your Savior go to this link:  The Gospel Message.  It will guide you to a saving knowledge of Jesus.  When you are done take a moment to contact:

This is the church that we attend.  Let them know that you just accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  Someone there will help you get started in your walk with Jesus.  This is the best most important decision that you will ever make.  God Bless!
