2017 Year End Thoughts as we go into 2018

2017 has been filled with lots of changes for us as a family unit mostly because of Timothy's training schedule.  He earned his 1st Dan black belt in December of 2016 and that brought about a chain of events in 2017 to where we are today.  He's accomplished so much in 2017.  2017 he won a Gold Medal for State Championships, He won two triple tag team cups with his buddies Enzo and Greyson, he won all around champion with 3 gold medals then the grand champion title with a big gold cup at Kukkiwon Cup, he turned around a week later and got a bronze medal for his poomsae and a silver in sparring at the Mid-Atlantic Tournament, and he got to go to Canada to train with some really amazing Olympians.  He's advanced a lot in his guitar playing this year.  He's learned to ride a dirt bike in a short period of time.  He advanced to his 2nd Dan black belt in December.  He's had quite the year in 2017, and I'm sure I've left some things out, but he's looking forward to all that 2018 holds in store for him as he trains harder than he ever has before so that he can gold at State again and advance to the Nationals which will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He's training hard so that he can come home with a medal at Nationals too.  To say we are proud of this kid doesn't even begin to express how deeply we feel about all his accomplishments thus far in his young life.  This kid is going places and doing things.  He's gonna be a force in this world.  He is gonna be a leader and not a follower.   The road ahead of him is great and he's gonna do great and amazing things with his life.  He's gonna honor God in all that he does because he has such a heart for the Lord.  Go Team inTIMidator in 2018!!!  This is gonna be a great year!!!

Carwheel into a Backflip

Timothy still needs to learn how to stick the landing but he can do a cartwheel into a backflip.

Timster reached 2nd gear Today

We are taking things slow and getting him comfortable with a gear before moving him up another gear. He’s doing quite well. Here’s a small clip of him in 2nd gear.

Timster luvs his bike

Timothy had a hard trading session but still came home and rode for a while today. He worked his way up to 2nd gear. We are doing things in stages to make sure he’s comfortable on his bike.

Sweaty....YUK!

This is how Timothy looks most days because of his training schedule.

Santa has been...

Time to go to bed. Santa 🎅 has been and this Santa’s helper needs her rest.

Christmas Eve

Timothy always gets to open one gift on Christmas Eve. He luvs this gift. This should keep him occupied for a while so I can watch my Hallmark Christmas movies😁.

Training Update

Timothy’s been training hard recently. He’s getting excellent guidance from some amazing coaches (Lorne and TJ Gresham) and improving on his kicks and moves. He is gonna be a Force to be reckoned with once he gets sharper with his moves. He’s excited about all he’s doing to accomplish his goals. Just gotta get that muscle memory to really take off for him. So glad his dad has been willing to sacrifice so much of his time to help Timothy accomplish his goals too. It is making such a difference in Timothy’s performance. Can’t wait to see where he’s at 6 months from now in his training. So proud of this kid.
