Beach Trip Aug. 2012

We took a weekend trip to Myrtle Beach to have some family time.  This was the first year that Timmy actually got in the ocean on his own and enjoyed it.  Usually we have spent more time playing in the sand than in the ocean and this year it was the other way around.  Was so proud of my little man.  We all had so much fun and it was a great family time:-)!

In Memory of Grandmother

Grandmother went to be with the Lord July 27th.  She was 94 years old and one of the most precious women I've had the privilege of knowing.  

Kung Fu Panda Build and Grow Clinic

Timmy and Daddy did another Lowe's Build and Grow Clinic today and this is what he built.  Timmy loves going to these clinics.  He and Daddy even found another Build and Grow item to do together at home.  I'll have to post some pics when they build that one.

Kentucky Trip

We got to spend the week in Kentucky with the family this week and it was a blast.  Here are a few pics from our trip:

This past week we took some vacation time and went to Kentucky to spend some time with the family.  While there Timmy learned how to swim at his Aunt Elaine's pool.  She had two pool stools that he kept swimming between.  We are so proud of our boy:-)!

Step 3: Playground Mulch

Got the playground mulch today.  Timmy is so excited.  One step closer to having it completely finished.  Next step will be to put the boarder around it.

Iron on Patch a Success

I ironed on the patch Timmy got from doing the Build and Grow Clinic at Lowe's onto the apron they gave him this morning.  It's the first patch I've ever ironed on and it was a success.  Yippee!!!!

Lowe's Build and Grow Clinic

Timmy and Scot did a Lowe's Build and Grow clinic yesterday.  They built a Madagascar 3 Luxury Assault Vehicle.  Timmy had lots of fun.  They'll definitely be doing this again.  I just went because it was Timmy's first time doing something like that and I wanted to get pics to share with family and friends.  Y'all enjoy!

Step #2: Playset being put together

The truck arrived around 4pm today and by 6:30 they were done putting it together.  Timmy got to see some of it and even helped out a little but had to leave for Power Camp at Open Door Baptist Church while they finished putting it together.  He got to see it all together as soon as he got back home tonight.  He is so very excited.  We couldn't come in the house til Timmy had time to give it a once over and play a little even though it was dark out when we got home...lol.  Next step will be to put the boarder around the set so that we can have the mulch delivered on Monday and put in the pit.  Boy will I be glad when that is all done because the ground is dirt/sand right now and we were all covered in it tonight after being out there playing with Timmy for just a few minutes.  The next few days there will be lots of baths and changing of clothes for Timmy til the mulch is in place.  Fun times:-).
