When I see stuff like this news clip I can’t help but think of what judgement may be befalling America because of how more and more everyday we are seeing how America is turning into more of a Sodom and Gomorrah America. America has pushed God away time and again. In bible times there were consequences for that kind of disobedience to God. We serve a living God so if He did that back then why should He be any different now? He’s a righteous God who wants us to come to a saving knowledge of Him but He’s given us all the right to choose. The choices we make show whose side we are ultimately on. We are either on God’s side or satans. We will either spend eternity in Heaven or an eternity in hell. The Bible tells us to choose this day whom we will serve. I pray as things unfold that people will get their hearts and lives right with God and make a definite choice to follow Him. We are seeing the beginnings of the end unfolding before our eyes with all that has been happening in our world. Time is short. We don’t know the day nor hour in which Christ will return to call all believers home but we do know what signs to be on the lookout for because we have God’s Word to guide us as a road map of sorts. We must abide in Him and seek Him as never before in this day and hour we are living in. To be ready for when He returns.
This article I’m sharing is just one of many things that are happening in America. The list of things that are happening that show the signs of the times is too long to share here. I feel it’s important to take a hard look at what’s happening as a consequence of America’s sins against God. We must confess our sins against God as a Nation and turn our hearts back to him before it’s too late. Even more consequences will come if America doesn’t wake up to the truth and return to God!
Pray Christians like never before for our country. Pray for our leadership. Pray for hearts and lives turning to God. Pray for lives so on fire for God that it changes not only our country but the entire world. Pray and then pray some more. Keep interceding on behalf of those who still need to come to God. Stand in the gap. Have a mind and life so focused on God that others are drawn to God because of the light of God that is in you. Let us draw them in and make a difference by the lives we lead.
