Good Read!!!

BREAKING NEWS: Seventy-Two Killed Resisting Gun Confiscation In Massachusetts.

National Guard units seeking to confiscate a cache of recently banned assault weapons were ambushed by elements of a Para-military extremist faction. Military and law enforcement sources estimate that 72 were killed and more than 200 injured before government forces were compelled to withdraw.

Speaking after the clash, Massachusetts Governor Thomas Gage declared that the extremist faction, which was made up of local citizens, has links to the radical right-wing tax protest movement.

Gage blamed the extremists for recent incidents of vandalism directed against internal revenue offices. The governor, who described the group’s organizers as “criminals,” issued an executive order authorizing the summary arrest of any individual who has interfered with the government’s efforts to secure law and order.

The military raid on the extremist arsenal followed wide-spread refusal by the local citizenry to turn over recently outlawed assault weapons.

Gage issued a ban on military-style assault weapons and ammunition earlier in the week. This decision followed a meeting in early this month between government and military leaders at which the governor authorized the forcible confiscation of illegal arms.

One government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, pointed out that “none of these people would have been killed had the extremists obeyed the law and turned over their weapons voluntarily.”

Government troops initially succeeded in confiscating a large supply of outlawed weapons and ammunition. However, troops attempting to seize arms and ammunition in Lexington met with resistance from heavily-armed extremists who had been tipped off regarding the government’s plans.

During a tense standoff in the Lexington town park, National Guard Colonel Francis Smith, commander of the government operation, ordered the armed group to surrender and return to their homes. The impasse was broken by a single shot, which was reportedly fired by one of the right-wing extremists.

Eight civilians were killed in the ensuing exchange.

Ironically, the local citizenry blamed government forces rather than the extremists for the civilian deaths. Before order could be restored, armed citizens from surrounding areas had descended upon the guard units. Colonel Smith, finding his forces over matched by the armed mob, ordered a retreat.

Governor Gage has called upon citizens to support the state/national joint task force in its effort to restore law and order. The governor also demanded the surrender of those responsible for planning and leading the attack against the government troops.

Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and John Hancock, who have been identified as “ringleaders” of the extremist faction, remain at large.

And this fellow Americans, is how the American Revolution began, April 20, 1775.

History. Study it, or repeat it.

Amped Training

Training has been amped up for T. The coaches are getting him ready for competitions to start happening. They seem to think by May that competitions will be in full swing again. But it’s still a wait and see. T is so ready to be competing again.

We got the osgood schlatters in his knees under control. He’s doing much better now. But now we are dealing with a shoulder issue. He’s under laser protocol for it. We’ve seen the results with his knees so we know it will work for his shoulder too. There’s always something to deal with to keep our guy in top condition. We are so thankful that we are able to do what’s necessary to keep him being able to make forward progress.

Here’s a couple pictures of the misalignment he had.

We were so thankful it was put back in place quickly and put under laser protocol to help the healing and recovery process be quicker. T is one tough young man and this too shall pass.

RIP Carman (2/17/2021)

Two great men passed away yesterday. Carman a Christian artist who redefined contemporary music with his songs. He never did a paid concert. All of his concerts were free to anyone who came. He fought and beat cancer. He went in for a routine hernia surgery that resulted in internal bleeding and kidney and liver failure from the internal bleeding. He fought a good fight and got to hear the words all Christians want to hear, “Well done good and faithful servant”. #ripcarman

The other a lot don’t see as a great man but we do and that was Rush Limbaugh. His radio show was huge and we enjoyed listening to him. He was a fighter as well but he lost his battle with cancer yesterday but he lived much longer than any of his doctors had predicted.

Of the two the crushing blow was from hearing of Carman’s death. For him to have been healed of cancer after being told he wouldn’t by his doctors then to go in for a routine surgery and lose his life because of it really has struck the Christian community hard. He reached thousands upon thousands of people for the Lord.

Here’s one of my favorite songs he did in recent years that is still very true today as the day he recorded it.

Shoes

T didn’t tell us he needed new shoes. Of course with all he’s grown we should’ve asked...LOL! So now he has a new pair of everyday shoes, The Rock Hovr’s, and a new pair of running/training shoes, adidas ultra boost😁. Whatever happened to shoes that didn’t cost an arm and a leg...LOL?! I don’t remember my folks having to ever pay this much for anything when I was growing up. #growingpains #firstclothesnowshoes

Training Today

They still had training today. Here are some pics I got from the training.

Not as many pics from training today. T is always making adjustments as he learns. With learning comes growth and we always want him to be continually growing and staying relevant in this sport.

In House Tournament at W.O.W. TaeKwonDo

The kids had an in house tournament Friday night. T did good his first match but did a lot of learning in his second match. He is working though some things he needs to fix. Learning is never fun but it’s needed in order to be able to continue to move forward as an athlete in this sport he loves so much.

T got to coach some of the younger kids.

Tori got to coach T in his match. She’s an awesome young woman.

Growing Even Still

We measured T today and he’s grown another 1/2” in the past 13 days😳. It won’t be long before he’s taller than me. Of course that’s not saying much because I’m short anyhow....LOL🤣😂🤣!

He’s hardly worn the shoes on his feet and his toes are at the end of them. We are having to get the kid more shoes so he can still do his cardio training at the track. Good running shoes are important I just wish he got more use out of them before growing out of them. His cousin is going to be styling when we pass along the shoes that don’t fit T anymore along with his UA and Adidas clothing...LOL!

Homeschool projects and experiments

Love when my guys work on projects and experiments together. It also gives me a break when Scot steps in and helps T. Love when we tag team and keep this boy on task. It also gives T a different perspective when we both work with him. #teamwork #notjustforsports
