Timothy’s Medals

I do believe we are gonna need a knew rack for his medals soon...LOL!

This is going to be Timothy's next medal hanger.  It can hold three times as many medals.  Plus it's the same size as the one he has now just with more rows for medals to hang on. 

Lane and Timothy at USAT SC State Championship on 3.24.2018

Just to show you the height difference between Lane and Timothy here is a picture that we took.  The official was nice enough to give Lane a gold medal for doing the exhibition match with Timothy.  Lane did not have a good day so he wasn't smiling but he and Timothy are good competitors.   Timothy has won two fights against Lane and Lane's won two against Timothy.

There's about a 4" height difference between them.

T-Money’s New Mouth Guard

T-Money’s new mouth guard was made to fit his mouth and he loves it. Plus we had them personalize it for him.

New Martial Arts Training Shoes

T-Money’s Old training shoes bit the dust so we got him some new ones. He can’t wait to use them during training tomorrow.
 

Guitar Lesson

This was taken yesterday while Timothy was enjoying his guitar lesson. He’s gonna miss his guitar teacher next school year. She’s retiring and moving to the beach. Timothy asked if we could go with her...LOL! He really loves his guitar teacher.

This evening T-Money sent Enzo Flying when they did one on one sparring. Watch!

USAT SC State Championship 2018

T-Money had a great day at the SC State Championship. He got to have a rematch with Lane and beat him 20-13. He also got an unexpected privilege of being able to fight with the Daedo Gen2 socks and the Daedo electronic head gear. Every headshot T-Money did scored today. We weren’t at the mercy of the refs seeing and scoring the headshots like we were at NC State Championships. Here are some pictures and a video from the tourney today.

One excited boy right now. Finally got his 2nd Degree KUKKIWON Certificate today!!!

Practicing Breaking Technique

Earlier tonight at Regular TKD Class Timothy practiced his favorite breaking technique, flying side kick, by jumping over every target they had. He did it with precision. Here’s a video of it.

Training Today ~ T-Money vs. Enzo

With several new younger kids looking on T-Money and Enzo gave them a show during training today. 

T-Money’s Fight at KATU Championship Today

Here’s the video of T-Money’s fight at KATU today. And this was after not having much sleep because of coughing up phlegm most of the night last night. So proud of this kid for getting out there and fighting hard even when he wasn’t feeling well. 

KATU TaeKwonDo Championship 2018

My silly boy is awaiting his award which we heard they may have ran out of. He’s upset about that because they were giving out swords as their prize. He’s still not feeling great. Wishing he could be home now so he can rest. He did great for a kid who was up and down all night coughing up mucus from his lungs. This momma got maybe 30 minutes of sleep last night. Gonna crash when I get home. So ready to be home chilling for the evening.  Timothy got Bronze. This time we knew going in he wouldn’t do as well because he’s overcoming a bad cold.

As usual the other boys tower over Timothy.  That's ok he still fought hard.

Walter is a heavy weight (weighing between 90-100lbs), Jonah is a middle weight (weighing between 77-88lbs), and Timothy is a fin weight (weighing 66lbs and under).  Timothy's actual weight is 61lbs.  Just wanted you to see what he was up against.  To have come close to beating Jonah shows just how strong our boy really is! And to have fought sick and still come so close to beating Jonah also speaks volumes!

Crashed on the car ride home because he's still not feeling well.  He did great today though!

USAT and AAU Collaboration

Timothy is not only competing in USAT events but also AAU as well. He's been excited about the opportunity to do both. And today we saw this press release and wanted to share it with you:

This is a major deal for all competitors in this sport! We were so excited to read this press release. We have a lot going on as we plan these competitions ahead. The two National events being the big ones. We are possibly going to be flying from one National event to the other in July.
