Saturday at Dee's house

We went to Dee's house for Anthony's birthday and this is what Timmy played on while we were there. He would get off but it wasn't long before he was right back on it. He loves this particular swing on Anthony's swing set. I've even went so far as to look for it because every time we are over there Timmy wants to play on it.

Daddy in back and Mommy in front watching Timmy to catch him should he slide off the swing.

This was taken after we left the party. Cup and cloth in hand and all is right with the world...lol.

Nan, Pop, and Elaine's Visit Last Week

Nan, Pop, and Elaine came in for a visit last week. Timmy thoroughly enjoyed it. He especially loved playing with them. Timmy loves every moment that he gets to spend with his grandparents. Enjoy the pics.

The mega blocks are so much fun and Timmy and Pop had lots of fun playing with them.

Nan and Elaine got in on the fun by playing in Timmy's Firetruck Tent with him.

"Oh boy, ice cream with my Pop. Now this is the life." Dexter was watching and waiting for a bite to fall for him...lol.

Timmy played hard and slept hard!
Timmy dressed Pop up in his cowboy hat and his play horse. Had to get a pic of that...lol!

Ice Cream Cones

Timmy's first ice cream cone. Not his first taste of ice cream mind you. Just his first cone. He had it with his friends Charlie and Andie Jo. They had a blast!

"Mmmm Mmmm goooooooood!"

A work in progress

Timmy is now in his big boy room and toddler bed. We moved his night lights from the nursery, the chair I sit and read to him in, and his rug into the big boy room. We were given the dresser. The walls are bare but it won't be long before we have some items hung on them. We have put some glow in the dark stars on the ceiling for him compliments of his Nan and Popsie. We had to order some more though so that we could cover the entire ceiling in them. He seems to be a happy boy in his new room. PTL! I've been trying to get him in his new room for a while now but he wouldn't go. The Holy Spirit told me to make the move to the new room after our beach trip. Thank you Holy Spirit! I just love how God gets involved and helps us in what we think are the small things of life! All too often people think God doesn't want to be bothered with the small things but he loves getting involved in every aspect of our lives. It has been a smooth transition to the new room all because I was open to hear from God through His Holy Spirit as to how to get Timmy to sleep there. Woohoo!!!

Sandbox

We found this sandbox on Craigslist a week or so ago but today was the first time that Timmy got to play in it. It retails for $80 in the stores but we got it for $40. What a great deal for a toddler item for him to play in on the deck. It's taking the place of the toddler pool we had. The toddler pool finally sprung a leak so it had to go bye bye. He seems to be happy with the sandbox as a replacement. PTL! WooHoo!

Last Day at the Beach

These were taken Labor Day. It was our last day at the beach before heading home. Timmy finally got his feet wet in the ocean but was still very uncertain about it. Daddy hung close by. Tristan on the other hand loves the beach water. He had a blast in it. Iris got her feet wet for the first time at the beach too while Maw Maw held her and loved it.

North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores

These were taken on Labor Day. My mom came down so Timmy and Tristan could spend a day at the beach together. We went to the Aquarium first. They had a blast.

Yes, that's my son climbing the frog and that's his Dad in the background watching. He climbs on everything so it's old hat for me to just watch him and be ready to catch him quickly...lol.
Dad helped with this shot by watching Timmy so I could get one of both of the boys.

He climbed another frog with his Dad watching closely this time so I could get a front shot...lol.

Having fun looking at the fish.
"Turtles."

All tuckered out again

This was taken Sunday afternoon. We took a drive to look around and while we did Timmy took a nap.

Sunday at the beach

"I have sand in my shovel too Daddy."

"See my sand toy."

"See my blue shovel."

"Let's see what I can do with these."

"Thanks for your help Daddy."

"This is comfortable."

"Time to drive my dump truck to get filled."

"Thanks for helping me fill my dump truck with sand Mommy."

Resting after a hard mornings work of playing in the sand....lol.

Lazyboy time

This was taken Saturday night just before bedtime. They were watching Backyardigans together.

Sunset at Atlantic Beach Saturday evening

The expression on his face is one of not another picture...lol.

Timmy was looking at the waves rolling in.

Fort Macon Saturday evening

It was Scot and Timmy's first time to Fort Macon. They had fun looking around the fort.

My men:-)!

Ocean view from on top of the fort.
Had to include this. This is something you just don't see everyday. As we were leaving the fort she was coming in with her photographer to do wedding pics at the fort. How funny!

A tuckered out little man

We went for a drive after playing at the beach on Saturday afternoon. We weren't in the car long before this happened:

Lunchtime

Timmy had a hotdog and chips for lunch. He had BBQ chips for the first time and loved them. He even pulled a mommy. He went MmmmMmmmmMmmmmm. Yes, I talk to my food. Especially when it's something I love to eat. Today was the first time Timmy had done that. I looked at Scot and was like, I wonder where he gets that from and all fingers pointed back at me as we were laughing. Good times!

"I'm getting chip faced."

Fun in the sand

Daddy and Timmy had fun playing in the sand together. I had fun taking pictures. My shadow is in some of the pictures. So I guess you could say I'm in them too. We are going to wear this boy out so that he doesn't wake us at 6:30 in the morning again...lol.

"Daddy look, I got sand on the shovel. Now to get it in the bucket before it falls off."

"Let's get us some sand."

"Look Daddy, it's Mommy taking pictures again. Oh brother."

"Look Daddy and Mommy, I got a shell."

This is mine and Scot's favorite picture so far. Timmy is just having so much fun in the sand.
