"I'm just so cute that they can't resist taking pictures of me."
Welcome to our blog page. This is to keep you updated on how God is blessing us. It's also to have one spot where our family and friends can see what's going on in our lives. Most of the posts are of our son. Outside our relationship with God he is our world. Enjoy!

In our room at the beach
I forgot about this pic too. In our room we had a small kitchen area. Timmy pulled all the pots and pans out of the cabinet and climbed up in it. He loves cubby holes. So this was the cubby hole he chose while at the beach.

Remember....
Remember to please leave comments. Years from now Timmy will be able to go back and look at the archived blogs and read all your comments. What a blessing that will be for him and for us.

Coming home from the beach yesterday
Ripley's Aquarium, Myrtle Beach
On our last day before leaving to come home we took Timmy to the Aquarium. He had never seen any sea life before and really enjoyed every moment of it. He kept reaching for the different fish as if he could touch them through the glass. Enjoy the pics.
Barefoot Landing at Myrtle Beach
We went to the shops at Barefoot Landing at Myrtle Beach and they had these tigers there. Timmy really enjoyed looking at them. I tried to get Scot to turn around so that I could get a pic of Timmy and him with the tigers in the background but Timmy didn't want to turn around as you will see in one the pics below.
Video of Timmy (Day 3 at the beach)
By day 3 Timmy was really enjoying playing in the sand. He still didn't care for the ocean too much even though we took him out in it on the 4th of July. He'd rather be in a pool. We had a pool just out the back where our patio was at the resort. That was real nice. In this video it will look cloudy and that's because cool a/c from our room and heat make fog. That is what you will be seeing but at least you can still see Timmy having a good time...lol. Enjoy!
July 4th at the beach
At the resort where we stayed the person at the front desk told us that all we needed to do was go out on the beach around 9pm and there would be fireworks being let off all over the place and they weren't exaggerating. At Myrtle Beach on the 4th of July there are all kinds of fireworks going off up and down the beach. We could have stood out there for several hours watching but Timmy wouldn't make it that long...lol. I only wish that we had taken our camera out there with us. It was Timmy's first time seeing fireworks and at first he didn't like them because of how loud they are but once he got used to them he was pointing at them and Scot and I think he even said the word "light" while pointing at them. That was exciting. He just started really pointing at what he wants or what he wants us to look at this past weekend. That is so awesome!

Video of Timmy at the beach
Here's a video of Timmy playing at the beach. He didn't care for the ocean and didn't want to go near the water but he liked playing in the sand. Of course, I had to be close by at all times or it wasn't a fun experience anymore...lol.
Day 2 at the beach
Our 1st night at the resort
So our 1st night at the resort was quite eventful. Timmy was in a new place doing new stuff and wasn't sure he liked it. Oh what fun that was...lol. We had a very rough 1st night. Even though I packed lots of Timmy's comfort stuff he wasn't satisfied. He wanted to be home in his own bed. I think I might have got 2 hours of sleep because he was up and down all night. It was frustrating and Scot and I were almost ready to pack up and go home because after one night we were wore out. But, we decided to go go go the next day and get Timmy good and tired so that he would sleep better the next night and it worked. He also did real good at the beach too. Praise God!!!
Timmy's 1st experience with the beach
We went on our 1st vacation as a family this past weekend. We took Timmy to the beach. It was a first for him. After the three hour drive to get there we checked in and then proceeded to hit the beach so that we could get Timmy's first reactions to the sand and ocean. The pictures below let you know just how he reacted.
"What's this stuff I'm standing on? I'm not sure I like this stuff?!"
"Dada is trying to help me like this stuff more but I'm still not sure that I like it?!
