Fall

I love the Fall. The leaves on the trees turn different colors and it's so beautiful. Today has been overcast but otherwise a beautiful fall day. The temp was suppose to get up to 60 today but I don't think it reached it. It is currently 49 out and the temp is steadily dropping. As I'm writing this I'm hearing ice rain hitting the window. The pictures below show some of the colors we are seeing right now but the pictures don't do the trees justice. They are actually more colorful than you are seeing. These pictures are from our backyard and sideyard.

The leaves in the trees here are actually yellow, red, and green.

Here the leaves are yellow, red, green, and a deep purple.

I'm sure that I will be able to get a better fall picture later.

Praise Report

Recently my sister, Regina, was in an accident with our Ford Explorer. She and the other person involved were not hurt. Our vehicle had more damage to it than the vehicle is worth so the insurance company totaled it. The insurance company told us that we'd probably get such and such amount for it in the settlement. To our surprise the insurance company sent us a check for the total blue book value of the vehicle. If we had tried to sell it ourselves we couldn't have gotten that much cash for it. God is such an awesome provider. Because of the pay off on the vehicle we were able to pay off our hospital bills from when Timmy was born and put what was left over toward paying off other debt. Even though we were out a vehicle God turned it around for our good. Praise God!

Peas

Today we tried peas on Timmy for lunch. Here's his reactions. You'll love these pics.

"Oh Dude this aint bananas!"

"You can have it back."
"I'm really not enjoying this."

"Enough already."

Daddy and his pics

Daddy just had to get pics of Timmy's messy face when I was feeding him several nights ago so I thought I'd share them with you. Enjoy!

At Church Tonight

After church tonight Cousin Tristan (Regina's son) decided he wanted to help me with Timmy. Tristan had so much fun pushing the stroller with me. He is such a big boy now. Timmy enjoyed strolling around at church. These two boys are going to have so much fun together when Timmy gets older and can keep up with Tristan. Thanks Aunt Gina for taking and emailing me the picture of these handsome young men.

N.C. State Fair

It's Fair time. Scot and I wanted to take Timmy to the Fair and possibly take him on the carousel but when we watched it going around we decided it was too fast for him this year. He'll enjoy it more next year.
Timmy still had a good time looking at everything though. We took him through a childrens barn that had goats, chickens, roosters and other things. When he heard the rooster crow his eyes got real big. I wish that I had the camera out and got a picture of it. He's going to be hearing the rooster sound a lot. Our neighbor has a rooster that crows all the time.
We decided to take a picture of Timmy and me in front of the carousel. He's looking down in the picture because it was so bright out.

Can I get them both in there?

In the pictures below you will see that Timmy is on his Daddy's lap trying hard to get both his hands in his mouth. It's so much fun to watch him try.

Back to Belly to Back again

Two nights ago as we were getting Timmy ready for his bath he rolled from his back to his belly then to his back again. I couldn't snap the pictures quick enough to get one of him on his belly but he rolled. In the pictures below you will see that he rolled right into his Daddy's lap. It was too cute. Afterward Charlie was sniffing his head. We included a picture of that also.

Yes, that blue line in his diaper that you are seeing means he wet his diaper. It's so cool how easy they make it for you to check a diaper now days. We used to have to just stick our finger in the diaper to check but not anymore. Thank God!

Isn't that patch of hair near his neck line so cute?!

Awww, Daddy and Timmy looking at one another after he rolled into Daddy's arms and Charlie in the background checking everything out.

Charlie sniffing Timmy's head.

We tried Rice Cereal again

We tried rice cereal again yesterday. I took the advice of my mom and sisters and put some banana baby food in with the rice cereal to give it some flavor. He loved it. He kept opening his mouth for more. Here are some pictures of him eating the rice cereal:

The Exersaucer

We put Timmy in the exersaucer for the first time last night. He really enjoyed it. Especially the ones that made noise. It was all so new that he had fun looking at everything and taking it all in. He's not quite long enough to touch the bottom with his feet but when he's able to and can jump around in it he is going to really love it. Here are some pictures of him in the exersaucer:

From Belly to Back

This morning Scot and I got to watch Timmy roll from his belly to his back for the first time. How exciting it was that we both were able to be there to witness that. A lot of the time Scot is already getting ready to go to work and doesn't have time to come back up stairs. I'm glad that he had time to do so this morning. We both got to be a part of a first for Timmy. Here are some pictures that were taken after he rolled over:

Five months old

Timmy was five months old yesterday. Here are some pictures that we took:

Popsicles

As I have said before, Timmy is going through that teething thing. The other night he was being a little bit of a bear because of the teething so I tried some popsicles on him. And, no, I didn't feed him the whole thing. I just gave him enough of a taste to chill his gums in order to help with the pain.

Does he like this one better?! or...

Does he like this one better?! We think he likes the grape one better. You decide.

He loves his hands most of all! That's no big surprise though.

Wedge

Ever since Timmy was born he has been sleeping on a wedge. The wedge helps keep him in the right sleeping position. In the picture you will see a white cloth. That cloth is on the wedge. Notice where Timmy is. I believe he has finally outgrown the wedge. They say they can sleep on the wedge up until they are six months old but he has outgrown it at five months old. Scot says he gets his moving around in his sleep from me because I move around quite a bit when I'm sleeping. I told Scot that he may have slept that way when he was kid?! But, Timmy probably does get it from me. At least he gets it honest.

My First Tools

Timmy's Cousin Brittany gave these tools to him. He is loving playing with them. Of course everything goes in his mouth but I managed to get a picture of him smiling with his new tool box before he started stuffing everything in his mouth.

His tool box in one hand and his screw driver in his other hand. What a cute smile!

He's doing his best to get his hammer in his mouth.

He's doing his best to get both his wrench and screw driver in his mouth at the same time.

He's trying his best to fit his tool box in his mouth.

Doritos

Scot was eating some doritos and, "Wham", the next thing he knew Timmy had both hands on the bag.

"Now how can I get this in my mouth?"

Two days ago

Scot and I thought this was so cute. This is how we found Timmy two days ago when he woke up.

Parting is such sweet sorrow

Here's some pictures of the last moments before Nan and Popsie headed home to Kentucky this morning. Charlie has attached himself to Popsie. I'm sure he is going to miss Popsie playing with him. Timmy has had a lot of attention from Nan and Popsie. He has been totally out of his routine and now we are going to have to work at getting him back into his routine.

Timmy is looking at the orange light on the camera.

Charlie enjoying some one on one time with Popsie.

Timmy checking Charlie out. Nan and Popsie having fun watching.

Nan holding Timmy one last time. Timmy is ready for a nap.

Timmy is just about asleep in Nan's arms. It wasn't hard putting him down for his nap.
