Christmas Season 2015 - part 3 (12-20-15)

Christmas in Kentucky with the Family:-).  Timmy had a blast with the family as usual:

Kitchen Facelift

This has been a work in progress that started around Christmastime and is still continuing. Still have walls and cabinets to paint. But we are closer to being done.
The table you see in the pic is what used to have the microwave on it.
These are the new cabinets.
Finished product. Looks oh so good.
Old countertops.
New countertops. We will post more when we get the cabinets and walls painted.

First Snow Fall of the Winter 1-17-16

It wasn't much but Timmy, Scot, and Dexter had fun playing in it.

Ready to go to his second guitar lesson: (1-21-16)

So excited about learning how to play the guitar. So proud of our boy:-). His second lesson went great and he got new songs to learn to play:-).

New Guitar - Yamaha JR2

Trial Guitar Lesson 1-14-16

We wanted to make sure Timmy was really ready to learn to play the guitar so we had a trial run with his beginner guitar (which is more like a toy guitar). He took to it like a duck to water:

Timmy's Wall-e Lego build

It only took him 2 hours to do this build.

Christmas Season - part 5

Christmas continued into the New Year. On New Years Day we were at the Lego Store bright and early to get this with the gift cards he received from the family for Christmas😊:
Bet you are wondering what's in the bag?!
He carried it all the way to the car himself. He was so excited.
The most pieces Lego has had in a Lego build so far. Look at the age it's intended for on the box.
Getting started.
So many bags. Must have been 30+ bags.
First level done.
Second level done.
Finished product. It took him a total of about 10 hours to build.
There is so much detail in this build.
And yes the car (which was a separate build) fits in the door.
Laughing at the suggested age because he's 7 and building this was no problem for him😊.

Christmas Season - part 4

Christmas at home. Timmy's spread from Christmas😊:
Timmy was one very happy boy😊.
